Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

I don't think we can rule out a much more substantial appearance by the Enterprise-E herself at some point in the series, especially if they're letting Sovereigns on television now.

Even if the Enterprise E appears, it might still be the Nemesis version, which EM said they think is "too similar" to the one they already released.

Maybe they can do an XL model of the Zheng He based on the new version.

And that's the scale chart including the Borg Queen Mother Ship:

I wonder if Eaglemoss might re-release the Gagarin alongside the rest of the PIC ships, or re-brand the existing model?

The top view of the Luna class they used for the size chart is a picture of the Eaglemoss Lower Decks model. You can even see the stand.

Isn’t it amazing that 5 days after the episode releases we have not only the ships names & registries but individual profiles of each ? We can also be sure we’ll eventually get models of at least 1 from each class.

I started with Trek with TOS reruns a couple of years before TNG & remember taking loose leaf paper and making little paper figures of the TOS crew plus a lot of extras. Part of that was paper Constitution cutouts for all the ships known on TOS. Finally got an Enterprise model & played with that thing so much eventually it was just the saucer section.

I remember rushing to get the Encyclopedia’s when they came out just to make sure I had the latest ships & studying Wolf 359 & Sector 001 fleets to death.

Incredible to me that now we get so much ship info so quickly & I can afford all the models ! Wouldn’t have been able to do that when I was making my paper ships.

I hear you.
WIshed to have ship models as kid so much, and only had two repurposed car air fresheners of the Enterprise and Big D.
And I remember the exciting detective work over at EAS to analyse the Battle of Wolf 359, see that there's some other Starfleet classes besides Galaxy, Excelsior, Miranda and Oberth.

When the Battle of the Binary Stars appeared, I was grateful we learned so much about the ships in the immediate aftermath. But this, this is a whole new level. Finally somebody understands that being a ship nerd is not just "cool starship go woosh" but also receiving encyclopedic info on it.

I posted this over in the Picard Starship Design thread. Applies greatly here and I absolutely share the sentiment:

I really do love the fact that the people in charge of putting these models & scenes together are publishing exactly what everything is, within a week of being shown on-screen, as opposed to making us wait 20-30 years, long after the show aired and ended, while we painstakingly analyze tiny little blurs on a screen cap like an endless Rorschach test. The Wolf 359 ships and DS9 Frankenfleet come to mind here. They really do finally get it! :)

Do you think all this info will be published on StarTrek.com or STO's website,* for those people who don't use Twitter?

*Which would incidentally render it a licensed source and therefore eligible for inclusion on Memory Alpha and Co.

The USS Leondegrance NCC-2176 from "Remembrance (PIC s1) has been identified as Lancelot-class starship.

Given that it only exists as a drawing, I doubt Eaglemoss is going to bother with it. After all, we haven't gotten the refitted ISS Defiant (NCC-1764) either, which STO has turned into a fully realized model.

You never know. We still have almost 2 seasons to go & wasn’t she Picard’s 1st assignment ? I think that’s only from background info but a plaque with that ship was an Eaglemoss gift for subscribers. I have it buried somewhere, don’t think I unboxed it.

I don't think they would portray the E-E interior consistent with the earlier movies. I'd rather they just move on to a new ship with their current production design.
But why would the interiors look the same after 22 years? The sets weren't even consistent across the three films.

The Enterprise-D sets were changed significantly between Encounter at Farpoint and Generations, let alone the "future" Enterprise in AGT.

I wouldn't expect it to be identical. Incremental changes - or maybe even replacing the bridge module or warp core wholesale - seems reasonable. But TOS -> TMP notwithstanding, I wouldn't expect any refits to, say, completely reshape all of the corridors.

Joe Biggs posted in the Facebook group that the next Star Trek Universe sub special is:
A 19cm figure of Spock (DSC) in 2257-2258 uniform, with a salt shaker and a tricorder.
£44.99 in UK, 54,99 € in EU.
