Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

^ Same!

I’ll use pens to add color to the Bussard collector and deflector dish.
And I’m gluing the nacelles and ‘pylons’ to the ship.

The previous for issue 14 shows an Eisenberg-class starship called USS Grechko NCC-74656-J. I presume we're actually receiving the USS Nog?

Voyager? I’m so far behind on my subscription for some reason. Still haven’t got the Romulan mother ship.
Looks like they gave it more detail than on the show but it still looks like a bottle opener to me.

I like the saucer section a lot. Looks very similar to the old Rick Sternbach concept model. But I can't get used to the detached nacelles.

the Voyager J has just been dropped off by DPD, i think im in love with this design, but maybe its because i just love Voyagers design

Ooh, sweet! Thanks for posting that. I think I might have to get that one as well. :)

I received to Rocinante today which is odd as I got a email from Eaglemoss a month ago saying it had been delayed to March. Still no sign of the Cerritos. That was supposed to be in January.

Wow, the Rocinante looks great. This is something that I have noticed - the BSG ships and the Stargate ones are much better quality than the Star Trek ones. Why is that? Maybe the license is more? The joins harder to conceal. Take the Cyclon raider, with its excellent detail and weathering. Or the truly special Colonial One?

By contrast, the XL Voyager that I recently got and the XL runabout are both featureless tat. Never mind that the windows aren't aligned or that there are swathes of detail missing - especially on the runabout.

I think Voyager is ok, but not worth £50. I think I got it for £35.

The Runabout is a chunk of grey plastic, nowhere near worth the asking price.

In just the first three Stargate issues they already managed to make one model that looks excellent (Goa'uld Mothership), one that looks good but not great (Daedalus), and one that looks abysmal (Death Glider).

"Shields down to three percent! Structural integrity decaying fast!"
"Reroute emergency fluoride to shields! Engage root canal drive on my mark! This is one day the Cavity Creeps will long regret they ever met us!"
Always ready to fight the enemy tooth and nail.

I wonder if the model is producible, because the parts are relatively far away from each other.

Nice! Both the Cerritos and the Vancouver look pretty cool. Me personally, I'm absolutely down with the cartoony look. I hope they'll arrive soon with people.

Note, that last tweet also includes some awesome spoilers for Lower Decks season 4 in the second image.
“Threevix”

The Courage-class ship appears to be the USS Jubayr.

The Liu Cixin was named for a contemporary Chinese Sci-Fi writer. It appears that it was renamed into the USS Le Guin, which is why that ship and the Liu Cixin share the same registry number.

It would be cool if Eaglemoss went with LG instead of LC for the Mars-class ship because that’s what was onscreen.
