Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

The import tax is completely legitimate and down to the absolute fun and games at the boarder due to the UK leaving the European Union and the open trade that allowed. - needing to pay a few extra euro on a ship is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to trade right now.

Finally got the shipping notice for my order yesterday. Still no delivery date from USPS though.

still no delivery date from eaglemoss. No indication on if it has even shipped or if they have just created the shipping label.

like I said, next time I’m just going to Amazon. With prime I’ll have my stuff within a couple of days.

Well...I’ll be...guess what showed up today. No warning, no tracking update ever.

thank goodness the ship and calendar were fine because they did a crappy packing job. And really the products being fine is the important piece. But what a mess with customer service/shipping.

Ever gone to your local store and found they didn't have any of the models you really wanted but you still bought one, cause you felt you should go home with something? That's how I ended up taking home the Arcos. The fact that I didn't get around to opening the packaging for nearly a week should tell you how excited I was about this one.

Eaglemoss did a good job on this one. It;s just not an exciting ship. We've already had it as the Batris (and technically the Xhosa), but now with a gray paint scheme, some tubing, and a rhino-like horn on the front section. How many of us even knew what this one even looked like on screen?

Again, Eagelmoss did good work, but there are other "Berman era" ships I would've rather have gotten made,

I liked it best as that huge, toxic freighter...sublight only, I think. That was what Malon or Gorn ships should have been.

for sure. When I used to collect Sports figures (either Starting Lineups or the McFarlane ones) if I would go out looking for a player from my local teams or a chase figure, more often than not I would still buy something if it looked cool to justify the time/gas I used.

I just got a shipping notice (so another two weeks) for an order I placed January 4th, and everything was listed as available for that one....I almost placed an order for a couple of them, because I was sure they must have lost it....

Though it is missing one of the items....

My "local" (still over an hour away) shop that deals in them finally got bunch of models I've been waiting for (like spacedock) but I'm cost cutting currently due to concerns of long term employment:brickwall:. Hopefully they're now a reg part of the stores stock and wont sell out permanently after taking so long to get in

USS Avenger and Hou-Yi class delivered (UK).

Now we've got three out of four large S31 ships from the Battle at Xahea. Has Ben indicated whether or not the remaining ship (a two-nacelled version of the Nimrod class) will get made?

I'm also tempted to get another Hou-Yi and remove the ventral nacelles, so it's like the concept Reliant. USS Ho-Yay?
Chang-e might be a more appropriate name. Amusingly enough, she’s both Hou-yi’s wife, AND the name of China’s lunar probe program, so there’s your historical justification.

Yep

According to the Facebook group, Ben had said they'd make all the "seven" Section 31 ship, indicating there is an unidentified design among the Xahea fleet.
Perhaps that is the Nim-sans-Rod.
