Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

I just emailed Eaglemoss about my Voyager. It came in with a lousy paint job. There are extra drips of paint on the forward section and on the underside of one of the nacells the paint is gone completely. Looks like it did not dry and got wipe off some how.

I'm sure you'll get a timely reply on that.

Yeah, I've always received a response within 24 hours (usually even sooner), although with Christmas and New Years it may be a couple of days due to vacation.

Fairly new subscriber here in Canada; can anyone tell me what the timing of the special issues are? When you received, DS9, Enterprise-JJ, Future E-D, and Vengeance?

Thanks!

Hey folks, hope you don't mind me jumping in here, for the holidays I got my first two ships from this line. (Individually bought via Amazon, not the subscription) My NX-01 came in just fine, but the NCC-1701 refit came with a saucer separated from the rest of the ship, plus the deflector had popped out. Am I likely to have more success going directly to Eaglemoss or working it through the Amazon side to get a replacement?

Honestly, I wouldn't know. Eaglemoss are fantastic for replacing damaged models, but only if you're a subscriber.

My suggestion would be to get some superglue and simply put them on yourself - the TMP Refit Enterprise is the worst model of the bunch, and I don't think you're missing out on anything fixing it yourself.

Via Xmas I got my hands on the Maquis raider and the Jem'Hadar attack ship. The latter clearly wins out against its Furuta predecessor.

The Ju'uday is one of the uglier ships in Trek, but the model really came out well. With the used look and silver finish, it reminds me of well-aged Matchbox cars. :)

So, as I stated above I emailed the company about my Voyager, no response. What is the link others have used? I sent it via the website.

Now a question on the free Items; according to this page: http://www.startrek-starships.com.au/subscribe.htm
I should have had my plaque already. Then I though I saw somewhere where you receive it with your fifth. My 5th shipment of the Excelsior and Defiant has shipped but it did not mention the Plaque. Does it come separately?

I think it's amazing that a magazine can feature anything Trek related, so long after it was at the fore of in-vogue popular culture - especially featuring such nicely done ships!

I also love how the ships featured are sometimes SO obscure they may have only briefly appeared in one episode.

I just love my Akira class!!!

You seriously expected an email within a few days of your last one around this time of year?

You sent it on Christmas Eve and it's now only the Tuesday after and the day before New Years Eve. I don't know what Eaglemoss is doing over this period, but Future let me know a couple of weeks ago that their customer service team won't be available around now given the time of year.

Yes I did since I see from others that they usually get back to you pretty quick but if I knew that before hand I would not have been worried.

I did receive a response last night though.

Got my Hideki & Surok in the mail today; along with the AGT 3-nacelle Enterprise-D that I've been waiting for for 6 months it seems. I'm disappointed when both ships are non-Starfleet vessels, so good thing the Enterprise arrived.

Is it not the Christmas and New Year period in your part of the World?

I'm disappointed when both ships are non-Starfleet vessels

Why?

Personally, I like that we've got so many Starfleet and alien vessels. Starfleet ships meet our Human aesthetics best, but alien ships add color and variety. IDIC.

Plus, I don't think the Andorians and Vulcans decommissioned their massive fleets on Federation Day, 2161. Most likely, these formed the bulk of the early Federation Starfleet.

The Kumari arrived! The ship is small but lightweight. It would still look good if one turned it upside down.

I didn't notice until now how Federation-esque the design is: engineering section with a pair of pylons. Move the weapon pods up and they'd be nacelles. Plus, a very narrow saucer section.

I love this ship!
