Yeah, it was just a link to the countdown website for joining the mailing list. This was the first correspondence I’ve received from MR.

Hopefully it will work better than the original Eaglemoss notification system did. :ouch:

I am eagerly awaiting the sites launch, I will be happy with a Vancouver and Caretaker array if they have them, fingers crossed

    lol

I’m not entirely sure it worked when I signed up, as nothing seemed to happen. I just thought to myself, “Ah, carrying on Eaglemoss’ fine tradition of customer service.”

It's already a bit dubious - I signed up for it a few weeks back when the new MR site went online. The fact that I got another email asking me to sign up fills me with dread/woe. Did I not get on their list initially? Will I not get notifications if I don't sign up a second time? If I do sign up (again), will I be getting two email notifications now instead of just one? I guess I'll wait to see if others are getting notifications and I'm not when it all starts up again.

They don't seem to be following one of the first rules of business and marketing: Don't continue to oversell something to someone if they've already bought it.

    Bad optics.

You can’t really prove a negative, so I don’t know when people actually do do it, but it’s hardly uncommon for people to not coordinate or cross-check their mailing lists and send multiples to the same people from different sign-ups. In most cases it’s probably not practically possible; since this is explicitly a GDPR thing, it could be outright illegal for them to even have the Eaglemoss list touch their own customer list.

Heh, I figured I wasn't going to sweat it because you guys would let me know in this thread.

Honestly, I'd bet 95% of what MR is releasing I already have, and the two things I'd be most interested, the 32c USS Armstrong and Cerritos shuttlecraft, never made it past the prototype stage. I'm thinking at best we'll maybe see 2-3 unreleased Universe ships (aside from the Armstrong, Robinson was sort of nebulous on which of the ones he showed were actually produced), the Caretaker's Array, Vancouver and XL Stargazer. I am hoping they restock the Reliant concept, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

There is a handful of replicas I never could order due to funds. Warship Voyager, Tactical Cube, V'ger, XL Akira...

I am hoping for a second chance but doubt it will work out...

I have a feeling they will get more demand again because of PIC S3. That might convince someone to buy the license and make new ones.

We still don't know what Corgi is doing exactly.

Hopefully the hero ships from PIC S3 and SNW, maybe rereleases of their older molds.

    Pictures from PIC S3E1

The EM models I mentioned - did they make a TOS Dreadnought? If not, it was made for this.

Eaglemoss never made a TOS dreadnought, it’s most likely a custom build for the show

You should probably tag this since it's outside of the Picard subforum.

after watching the Picard S3 premiere it’s killing me that Eaglemoss isn’t around to give us the Titan. I want one right now. lol.
