That top-left Nova concept appeared as the USS Aquitaine in a TNG comic. (And the bottom-left one looks very much like it could have inspired the USS Veracruz designed by Mark Kingsnorth)

The Bonaventure NCC-1000 is the most recent SOTL calendar-only ship we've gotten, right?
The vertibird version of the warbird is next, but I wouldn't mind the "Insignia-class" USS Veracruz, or the original TAS Bonaventure.

I seriously considered adding the Bonaventure to my VERY select collection (five starfleet starships and V'ger ), but somehow didn't get around to it. I would add these Nova-class concepts, though - I love the awkward Aquitaine! Perhaps if Lower Decks featured them, Eaglemoss will release them?

I think I called my Vesta Class vessel in STO the Aquitaine. Named after a Doctor Who story.

I haven’t watched Space: 1999 but my partner’s seen it. As a ship person, I definitely want an Eagle One.

Eagle One with passenger cabin
Eagle One with booster rockets
Eagle One with laboratory modules

Have I got this right?
Are there likely to be additional models?

There was also a cargo carrier (with nuclear waste containers) and hospital version (similar to passenger version, but main cabin had red stripes painted on it). There were also the Ultra Probe, Swift, Superswift and Hawk ships, among many others. 1999 had a lot of little-known one-off designs that would make for great additions to the collection.

The 1999 Wiki has a complete list of all the ships seen in the show.

I'm a bit flabbergasted at the prices of the Space: 1999 eagles. They look super nice, but now I'm not sure if I'm actually that big of a fan.

I also wouldn't know which one to choose. Which is the “normal” one?

EDIT: Ah, followed @137th Gebirg's link from above. The Eagle transporter seems to be the one that's most frequently seen.

Online, I had seen a version with something like a Colonial Viper perched on top but it does not appear on that list.

I think I know that one - the Re-entry Glider from the episode “Immunity Syndrome” (an unfortunate rip-off of a TOS title). The list may only include self-propelled vehicles, maybe? A lame rationalization on my part but can’t think of any other reason why it wouldn’t be on the list.

In most cases I prefer having colored plastic instead of a paint-on. Makes it feel more real, Imho, like when you let artificial or sun light cast across them.

true. Maybe it depends on the size because my XL-1701 looks great in any light. But the NX-01, 1701-B and 1701-E all look dark unless the natural light hits them just right.

The Bonaventure is a tough ship to get but looks wonderful. Definitely worth getting.

There are so few canon or even semi-canon Starfleet designs that look like they could be from the "Matt Jeffries" era. Pretty much just the Connie and the Antares, so it's really nice to include this one.

I don't know how it would look at Eaglemoss scale, but the old AMT models always had clear plastic painted on the inside for things like the nacelles, and it always looked spectacular

I'm pretty sure I remember most of those from the show (except ironically enough, the glider one, lol). Maybe the completely empty pallet one was never on the show (i feel like we always saw them loaded, although maybe it was seen during the loading shot in "Breakaway"), but is a reasonable extrapolation that had to exist.

Diecast Eagles are always a bit expensive, not sure if that's a low production numbers thing or if the license holder charges a lot more or sets minimum pricing.

Yeah those Eagles are expensive, especially when you think each one is just a small change in the basic form factor. My spouse is a fan and I thought I would get them for him, but it’s a hard pass on the set. Maybe I’ll just get one.

But it’s a very cute design and I already broke my rule with the Proposed but never done Klingon cruiser for Enterprises first season. Same reason I never got the Titan when it came out. Of course once it showed up on Lower Decks I picked it up.
