Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

Is this concept art for the Franklin? It's from the cover of Eaglemoss' 'Designing Starships Vol 2' book cover.

No, that’s an ENT S2 / 3 Design for an Earth starship.

so a few days ago i wrote CS and pointed out that the release date for discovery issue 3 came and went without a word, despite their email apologizing for delays and lack of communication. this is their response:

anyone want to hazard a guess as to wtf this guy is talking about?

btw according to the facebook fan group, people in europe are receiving shipping notifications.

No idea. It doesn’t really read like they’re answering your question either. I know Issue 3 was originally supposed to be charged in Europe on June 12th, and didn’t actually start shipping until yesterday or the day before I think. I was hoping our delay was similar.

The US webstore shows a release date of July 10th now, BTW.

if i recall correctly, the webstore showed issue 2 with a release date about a month after the subscription release. that would've been the case here if not for the delay. now it probably will be july 10, unless this CS rep's broken english is to be believed...

"Licensing issues with CBS"? I wonder why this is a thing, all of a sudden? Could they have had a "provisional" license specifically for Disco that had a limited lifespan, whose renewal was made muddy because of the CBS/Viacom/Paramount nonsense? Curious indeed...

i just assumed he doesn't know what he's talking about.

The one difference is that the McFarlane license is new, whereas the Eaglemoss license has presumably already been approved, or they wouldn't have been able to distribute either the Discovery or Shinzhou and something allegedly interrupted it.

Hi Peeps!

I've finally entered the Eaglemoss fray, picking up the Ambassador-class USS Enterprise 1701-C today - and it doesn't disappoint! :) I've also order the Probert Concept Ent-C as well - which I'm extremely looking forward to!

Been a long time fence sitter, when it came to Eaglemoss - so nice to have dived in, somewhat late to the party!
