I bought the NX-Refit, brand new off eBay for about $20 Canadian (before shipping), my first ship so far. I love it.
And so it begins. Soon you'll be thinking "Where am I going to put all these ships ?" like the rest of us.

Cover was all bent up on mine too. There was enough space in the box to actually put it lying flat but what they did instead was to put it in width ways with the model which gave it a big crease in the middle. Such a simple thing they could do to avoid that.Got my Defiant, Norway, Steamrunner and Nebula ships delivered yesterday afternoon, ordered off of the Eaglemoss website and got the 30% off. Massively disappointed that the magazines at the bottom of the box had the covers creased. Each issue, was like the person who dropped the magazines in wasn't paying attention so each cover was bent back. Two have the corners bent as well. Poor packaging job.
So, just signed up for the XL subscription series because it's considerably cheaper than buying them individually from the main site and wanted to start it with the 1701-E, as I already have the D. Then, promptly after placing the order, they sent me an email saying that they were going to be sending me the D in a couple weeks. Called them up to try to skip the D and move it to the E...and they couldn't do it.Too soon, they said. So now, I need to wait until I get closer to the shipping date and cancel the D before they ship the order. They said that they will "push this issue up to corporate", a familiar refrain which I am sure will never happen.
For anyone who wants to sign up for the XL subs, wait until the E-E becomes available if you already have the E-D. Just not worth the hassle otherwise.
I think I'll add this to my previous review on TrustPilot.
So I just got charged the $59.95 for the XL E-D on Friday and, according to an email I received on the same day, it's apparently being shipped. No correction calls or emails from "corporate", no skipping this one like I asked, no nothing. Which, BTW, I completely 100% expected. It's never a good sign when predictable stupidity is the baseline norm. Thanks for the info as I was considering doing the same thing. I guess I'll wait until we're on the NX-01 since I got the E at STLV.
I've had two ships arrived damaged: the mirror Enterprise and the Horizon. When I've emailed them with pics they sent them out again within 2 weeks and I got to keep the damaged ones. With the oversize being £50, I can't imagine they'll let me keep it. But I said I was happy to return it in my email so we'll just wait and see
For all the problems people have it's pretty great (and surprising) that they would do that.So having had problems with the giant enterprise e, Eaglemoss have again been absolutely brilliant. I live in the uk btw. I emailed them with photos attached of the problem. They then emailed me back saying I hadn't actually attached the pics and asked me to send them again. I sent them and within a couple of days they said they'd dispatch the Enterprise e again and it should arrive within 21 days and that I can keep the first one. I know this won't be popular but I feel really valued by eaglemoss and their customer service. I really hope though that everyone else starts to get service they deserve
Can someone explain how to set up the Eaglemoss folder to hold the magazines that come with the ships? I want to be certain I do it right the first time, so I don't end up with a pile of magazines crowding out the other Trek books at the bottom of my bookcase.
If you search Star Trek Binders on YouTube there are several demonstrations out there. It's something easier watched than explained I think.
