I had no idea the site went back that far. lol

But one of the links in that old thread takes you to TrekCore and they have a faq with some questions there were answered by John McGinley who worked on some aspects of VF.

But here is a link to some video of Johns that have some very short clips of the game and some even some voice work from Shatner, and you can here the actor who was brought in to do some of Kelly's voice work, plus there are more are a few more if you go to the link bottom link.

That's an amazing DeForest-alike. I'd not have guessed it wasn't him.

This is one of the worst Development Hell stories for gamers into sci-fi.

The other TOS voiced adventure games still sell on GOG. They sold for $50 / pop back when $50 was $50. It'd be like an $80 game today.

Screwing up Vulcan Fury was a huge mistake.

It's not like they really had much choice. The company was in dire straits, at a time when the types of games people played was shifting. It was an overly ambitious game (ie Pixar-like 3d animation) that was costing them lots, and when the company was seeing red, there were a lot of other decisions that factored in to them closing the company. Even if they were to have had progressed far enough for them to be able to release it, the market had changed a lot and I sadly don't think it would have sold enough. Point and Click adventure games were among the most expensive types of games to be developing.

I kind of thought that they should make the game as a Kelvin Timeline story. Bring in D.C. Fontana to rewrite the script and have Spock Prime guide the crew through the adventure that he himself went on in the prime reality. Use the original voice clips and animations as flashbacks/Spock's memories. Alas, it is only in my dreams where Nimoy is still around and I have the money to make that happen.

Considering that unreleased material from the 1998 game Jurassic Park: Trespasser continues to surface I do still have some vague hopes for this, but I highly doubt anything will ever see the light of day.
Do you have any evidence to back this up?
