"Late 2023" was the date originally given before Paramount+ pulled the plug. I guess some people are stubbornly adhering to that for some reason.

That’s amazing!Captain Meg seems to think that Dal could be a Lerikan. The similarities are quite uncanny, perhaps Dal simply has Lerikan DNA in him as we know that he is a hybrid augment?

Did you find it? Or is the passage with Gwyn and that Vau N'akat robot ("you were created...") not in the book?I'll look out for that.
Ah. thanks for the reminder. It is a really peculiar phrase - I did not come across it in the novel.Did you find it? Or is the passage with Gwyn and that Vau N'akat robot ("you were created...") not in the book?

I do not see this as being promising news, Netflix would not want to wait 3 years for new episodes. If Prodigy was being picked up for season 3 then I am sure that it would have been part of the Netflix deal? However, as the team behind Prodigy is still ‘dissolved’, I read this as meaning that the show is probably ending after season 2?New panel/interview with the Hagemans:
It's very long (though the Hagemans leave after some 30 minutes), but some interesting quotes on the ending of season 2 (from around 13min 30s). They also make it clear that the team behind Prodigy has dissolved (as could be expected with no renewal since years) and it must be reassembled for a potential season 3. Making that would take at least 2 years, and more likely 3. The leadtimes in animation are very long.
They also say they were relieved by the reaction of the fans to the show, as well as the pick-up by Netflix.
I hope not, as Prodigy’s team did a great job!Netflix may want a new team.
Money though. Netflix may want to negotiate a new contract to save money, especially with licensing fees.I hope not, as Prodigy’s team did a great job!
Yes, probably. And hardly surprising given the circumstances.I read this as meaning that the show is probably ending after season 2?
