Just like with humans, life tends to wear them down...

This isn't really a spoiler so I won't code it as such.
Assuming that in the NF universe, Brikarians basically look like slightly rocky humanoids (assuming that picture on the cover is Zak Kebron), I assume there's an explanation as to why Rok-Tahk doesn't look like that?
Is it just a matter of Rok-Tahk being so young that she will gradually 'shed' that appearance and that as a full grown adult, she'd look more like Kebron? Is there anything in the novels that would suggest this? (I've never read NF so I wouldn't know)
Star Trek has redesigned species with multiple appearances a number of times, so Brikarians looking differently between comics, original covers, German covers and now PRO is par of the course.
Si Cwan as sounding like Teal'c.
So I guess this is just what Brikarians really look like, then?
I started the thread and I’m more than happy for this. For the lack of anything better, would anyone like to repurpose this preexisting thread as the dedicated Prodigy-in-relation-to-novelverse thread? I'm a little surprised this forum hasn't seen more activity as Prodigy season 1 has progressed.

Oh dear, haha. I have linked this thread to my recently-created thread for Strange New Worlds which links to parallel spoiler threads for other Paramount+ series.I started the thread and I’m more than happy for this.
The reason I’ve not said any more on the subject might be the same reason there hasn’t been more discussion from others… I don’t live in the US and have therefore not been able to watch any prodigy.
Suggestion to a mod: merge in this thread which addresses a virtually identical matter.

We don't seem to have a "Prodigy and the Novelverse" thread (maybe we should combine/retitle the threads on this theme?), but today's Prodigy episode establishes something about the life of Ensign Garrovick from "Obsession" that decisively invalidates any story showing him active in Starfleet post-TOS (including Home is the Hunter, In the Name of Honor, and the graphic novel Debt of Honor, although the first of those already contradicts the latter two).

I just watched the episode, but missed hearing the Ensign's name. (I assume it was in the log entry, but I didn't catch it.)
I think Mumy will be best known as Lennier in Babylon 5.Today I learned that Space Cases, one of my favorite shows as a child, was created by the guy behind New Frontier and the original Will Robinson.
It's Mumy, and you would be wrong.I think Mummy will be best known as Lennier in Babylon 5.
