Apparently he ignored Kirk's advice and accepted a promotion after all.
Couple of quick thoughts and guesses:

THERE IS A GOD! LOL
Seriously, I have been waiting SEVENTEEN FREAKING YEARS FOR THIS. And it looks...beautiful.
I may just start crying...
Recent television cinematography/videography sure brings 90s TV to its knees.
So 15 years prior would have been the Hobus Incident?
Kodak 35mm is hard to beat tho. I hope the scripts are good, more importantly.
Video unavailable now. Glitch at HQ?

Welp, scratch that.
Somebody probably let it slip early.
Funny though, the date on it was the 21st.

I got it DL'd
I like the TNG ditty at the end.
This was working a few minutes ago.
The teaser was sent to press this morning in an unlisted YouTube link which was uploaded on May 21st, with an embargo for 9:45am PT / 12:45pm ET. Somebody jumped the gun, and posted early, so CBS have yanked the original link and asked sites which had posted prematurely to take their articles down.
Here's another mirror. Exciting.
This one works!
