Warp travel times have had a MASSIVE upgrade in the time of Picard since the TNG days, in-universe. Star Trek Prodigy, which takes place between Nemesis and Picard, shows that Starfleet ships can now go to the Delta Quadrant pretty much on a whim.
Or it's just Trek's Speed of Plot thing, which has been going on since day one
