I didn't like Season 2, but what you're saying is nonsense.

Somehow, the way this shot looks is very mid-'00s, end of the Berman Era. And the uniform itself looks like the Berman Era turning into the Kurtzman Era. They pulled off a lot, making this look like 20 years earlier. Not just with the de-aging.

I do think there is one thing we can all agree on. The LCARS. I'm loving it. It looks fantastic and it's everywhere. I missed it. I was tired of the stupid air panels we are seeing on Discovery and the first two seasons of Picard. Finally back to the beautiful shiny touch panels.

When I see stuff about the reason that this Star Trek is so awesome is because of things like ship models and computer displays, I just have to remind myself my mantra: Star Trek is different things to different people.

Q was trying to give him a lesson like in all good things, trying to kill him with a tesla makes no sense. Season 2 made no sense at all

Why? he has Picard's mind in there. He is a being, like Data, or the Doctor, or Sargon in TOS. There is nothing wrong there.

I'm also questioning the humor that someone is finding in watching a being hit by a vehicle and why that causes humor?

And Picard himself was recreated from the transporter records when he was converted into energy in “Lonely Among Us”. His original body has been gone since 2364.

Although I will admit I’m still not sure why Q wanted Soong to kill Picard either.
