Spoilers Star Trek: Picard General Discussion Thread

I guessing she's making a plot comparison, but based on what we know I'm not sure how it fits, but she knows more than us.

Also Todd was in Enterprise, he played Talok the undercover Romulan in Ki'Shara

Today Robert Meyer Burnett is interviewing Terry Matalas and Todd Stashwick. The live stream is talking mostly about 12 Monkeys (minor spoilers for that series into season 3). Part 2 is coming tomorrow after the AFC trailer.

Rob thinks Terry can convert Doomcock, and Terry wants to :|

"What about Doomcock? I think, I think you're gunna turn him!" Burnett sarcastically

"Yeah, yeah I'm gunna turn Doomcock" Terry with bemused never going to happen facial expression

"I think you are"

"Right..."

Doomcock has personally insulted both of them beyond just playing a character Mr. Plinkett style, so, yeah...

ok it looks like the post I was replying to disappeared

As someone who doesn't know what Fallout 3 is, is that praise or comdemnation?

There's a follow up tweet clarifying that they have some music in common.

Good. Some windmills aren't worth charging at.

Wow, the buzz is real..! Love what I’m hearing so far from those fortunate enough to have seen the screeners..!
Crazy positive responses on Twitter, including from people that hated Picard seasons 1 and 2. It might be one of those rare cases where the fans and the critics both really like something.

I can kinda see now why the Popcast guys were saying that they'll pretty much have all Picard all the time content going while the season is airing. With advance knowledge, you can have all your supporting lore videos ready to go in advance.

If anymore is interested in how Terry Matalas and Stephen Barton approach scoring a series, you can check out this 12 Monkeys podcast episode (likely spoilers for the entire series. -- and yes I hate the Apple empire, but everyone Android like me knows how to then find it on their favorite podcast ep...). Could have been a temp score or something inspired by it.

There are times that really make you question your life choices. Hearing that all it took someone to achieve internet fame is to dress up as a Mexican wrestler and post angry videos on YouTube is one such time.
