Spoilers Star Trek: Picard General Discussion Thread

Interesting that Agnes never refers to herself with "I," only "we," and lacks the charisma her predecessor enjoyed. That's a nice touch. Jurati appears to be the Borg Queen some fans hoped the original would be; an emissary rather than their dictatorial puppet master.

Her face also appears to lack the characteristic Borg pallor, which, if intentional, is a wonderful artistic contrast to the Borg of yore. (Could just be the lighting I guess.) No idea why she's wearing an ominous opera cape though...

Another interview with Sir Patrick with quite a bit more hints and info about season 3 and the TNG cast returns: https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/pa...-2-finale-next-generation-reunion-1235259761/

It sounds like as if he’s saying they’re returning at different times throughout the season, which would explain why so many other PIC characters are being shoved aside - if they’re going into each character individually, things are gonna take up a lot of time. And he’s changing his tune regarding playing Jean-Luc again, it seems he’s now in the “nah” corner - this isn’t unexpected, but keep in mind that he has said this before… pretty much after every TNG movie, lol. ;)

Well, Beverly has speaking roles in at least the first 6 episodes, so she might be one of the first.

I wouldn't be surprised if the series ends with Picard's death.

Probably, but from what he’s been saying - stuff like “there’s still a question mark over Picard’s head” and “Picard will live forever” AND the fact that the showrunners have said that there WOULD be room for a 4th season if Sir Patrick wants to return makes me think there’s a twist after said death that still leaves the door open.
