I don't think we need to have a reunion of the Voyager crew in a movie about Picard that's already going to try and do some TNG reunion stuff. Using Seven is good enough. I mean, maybe "at most" we could reunite with some DS9 character to just get the "trifecta" of the TNG-era casts. Though I'm not sure who you would use, maybe Jake could've been the hostile FNN reporter.

But, then, that'd make him look bad.

I'd be satisfied if the VOY cameos or guest starring roles were limited to Seven, the Doctor and Admiral Janeway. Mention what happened to the others and to Voyager after she got back to Earth but keep the reunions limited in scope.

Unlikely fan theory here, but what if the synths attack on mars was due to nero hacking before Romulus was destroyed as a revenge fail safe against earth since he went back in to time get revenge on vulcan.

There's a part of me that wouldn't mind seeing Eric Bana film a cameo as a flashback of Nero from before the supernova destroyed Romulus. Seeing him without a shaved head and tattoos would be a cool nod to the 2009 movie.

Lightning quick way to get me right in to Picard.

I know it's not canon but the old Countdown comics said that Nero and his crew shaved their heads and got their tattoos as symbols of mourning for Romulus and their lost loved ones. Bana as Nero with hair but before he goes all supervillain and destroys Vulcan would be a neat moment.
