Spoilers Star Trek: Picard General Discussion Thread

If he's inconvenient, the other kids should return. I remember a girl with a few lines and twin guys with maybe a word each XD

They went back to families (Icheb was a weapon, the rest weren't)

The Borg Baby is the key villlan in this series though. Spending the entire trip back to earth trapped on deck 14 with Carey and Samatha Wildman led to a lot of resentment.

Has anyone worked out which episode Will and Deanna are in? Didn’t it work out around #6?

Seven doesn’t appear until one of the episodes Frakes directed, 3 or 4 (apologies if this is spoiler territory)

I saw a new Picard preview on Youtube with Picard talking about an attack and alot of people have been killed. It showed old time romulan warships And they showed what looked like seven holding the injured or dead man during the attack.Ditto Its seems like they're showing alot of first season episodes already with the spoiler stuff in these adds:devil::evil::vulcan::lol::guffaw::D:whistle:.
Seven holding the dead guy is old, I believe it was in the October NYCC trailer? The TOS BoP is also in a trailer from last year.

So my final’ish thoughts on the attack on Mars seen in the various trailers.

The Romulans are attacking Mars by hijacking the planet’s own defences.

Reasoning:
In the prequel comic the Federation is building a rescue fleet at Mars, and some Romulans don’t believe it is an actual rescue fleet but an invasion fleet. A group of Romulans manage to hijack Picard’s flagship using its own computer.

In the trailers we see kite shaped ships with starfleet logos on them attacking Mars. So I think the Romulans hijacked those ships/drones the same way they hijacked Picard’s ship in the comic.
I have something to add.

My theory is that the event that causes Picard to retire, is that after the Romulans attack Mars, the Federation calls off the rescue mission

I think some of the shots with the romulan ships attacking and seven holding the dead guy are getting old. Also Dahj fighting the bad guy on the roof at Starfleet headquarters Use some new footage for previews Paramount.

Star Trek nitpickers has put together all the Picard previews into one video on Youtube . They have been edited some scenes that have been cut because we've seen them too many times. The stuff with the romulans and the borg. I like this new video edit of the previews

Paramount has nothing to do with Star Trek: Picard.

Your right it;s CBS all access still it wouldn't hurt for them to show new footage in their previews though.

Putting PIcard together with Seven is like Placido Domingo doing a duet with Eminem.

It's been a long time coming. On Voyager, you got hints of Seven being vicious -- but up until now, she never actually followed through (Shooting a gun out of a man's hand? Seriously? She couldn't at least STUN him? )

One thing is killing my eyes. "Children of Mars" is lined between end of Nemesis and end of that century. We all know that okudagrams - LCARS were part of Federation from starship systems to school systems and interfaces. Well I noticed in trailer "Children of Mars" that there are no LCARS-i and sorry I can't forgive that. This looks like Discovery-TOSEnterprise era interface, and that is not possible and has no logic.

24th century United Federation of Planets has one trademark, and one trademark only. That trademark is LCARS.

Why did they do this? #disappointed

Because it's a show being produced in High Definition in 2019 - 2020 and not 1987.

(And before you go off on me - now you know how us TOS TV series fans feel when they change the looks from the Trek we grew up with too.)

Picard saying: "In the face of a powerful enemy. Tens of thousands are dead. But I have a mission which means a lot of people will try to stop me"

As for the title of this thread, "General Picard" sounds like a mirror universe series in which the Terran Empire rebounded and Picard is on a vengeful rampage against the Klingons and Cardassians.
it's been bugging me, too. Changed the title so the first word is less likely to be confused with the character's rank.
