I got that offer last time when I cancelled after Disco S2, and took it, but was still charged for another month. Took some back and forward with them cause they said they don't see any discount applied, but they still reimbursed me in the end.

Netflix was like that back in the day. I cancelled but they still charged for multiple months, and I couldn’t access the account.
It’s the reason I’m weary of these subscription services. I prefer to just pay to own.
