Matalas has said on multiple occasions that he considers Worf as Enterprise-E Captain to be canon. He has also teased they might allude to this at some point but it’s unclear how explicit this will be.

I have no problem with the idea. It just hasn't been stated on screen yet.

There are things I can see and things I can't, BUT like I said in another thread, I'm not ruling anything out now.

Geordi was having babies pretty much immediately after, so he probably didn’t stick around long either. He may have left to captain the Challenger.

Assuming that what we saw in Prodigy was indeed the E-E and not just the 3d model lazily reused..

She was effectively destroyed at the end of Prodigy S1, rather casually also.

I doubt CBS would have let them destroy the Ent-E that casually.

Though if she survived that battle, she would have to be retired at least 2 years later going by the Audio logs that said the -F launched in 2386

I think it was just damaged, like all those Defiant's.

"Damaged" is a light term. Again, if it is the E-E, her damage was more extensive than it was in Nemesis, was totally dark and without any sort of power at all..and I do mean totally dark, like TNG Disaster levels dark.

Worf declared it was a good day to die. The ship was torched as he was beamed away.

Eh? Picard spent nine years commanding the Enterprise E, and for seven of those years the entire TNG gang minus Worf were with him.

I find it very hard to believe they'd destroy the Enterprise-E in a series that's part of the Voyager Line instead of the TNG Line. I think it was a generic Sovereign in Prodigy.

So is Kirk turning up to join the fight against the Changelings who have been working for the Borg in an attempt to recreate Locutus? Is that where we're heading?

If Even one iota of Kirk DNA mixes in the Changeling gene pool the Federation is doomed. It would be like Austin Powers overloading fembots.

So, I'm going to be in the UK for vacation next week, and am wondering about how I'm going to watch Episode 8.

Paramount Plus will not work in the UK correct? But I can just log into my Prime account and find Picard?

It seems annoying that Picard isn't wearing at least a Starfleet uniform jacket. Patrick Stewart reportedly doesn't want to wear anything related to Starfleet. Again we see his combadge of the chancellor of the Academy. But he could at least put on a uniform jacket like his son is wearing now who is not in the Fleet. Really annoying. He coud wear Nike tracksuit.
