I must have missed that. Thankfully.
We just finished the episode. The scenes with Spiner and de Lancie were great.
Especially striking when one considers Q's contempt for Data's "witless exploration of humanity."
I don't recall them playing off each other much. Perhaps a wasted opportunity.
Mostly just in Deja Q.
The only criticism of this episode is its length. Surely it could have been ten minutes longer? Did they not have enough footage? Or maybe it was ultimately considered redundant? Or maybe some will be held back for future episodes a la some of Q's scenes this season?
Yeah, 41 minutes and an odd number of seconds included the recap. That's painfully short for any live-action Trek series.
There was a Discovery season 1 episode, one of the Mirror Universe episodes, that I believe was only about 35 minutes long.

On my Paramount+ app it’s the 5th shortest full length/“hour long” episode of Trek.
The shortest is DSC S01E12 Vaulting Ambition at 37m 17s, with DSC S01E02 Battle at the Binary Stars 38m 24s, DSC S02E07 Light and Shadows 39m 40s, and S01E08 Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum 40m 46s all also a little shorter than this week’s episode.

Wow. 'NuTrek' is spending money in different areas I guess? If you're not going to have longer seasons at least have longer episodes.

Laris isn't Irish, only the actor who plays her is. Some Romulans have accents that just sound Irish when they speak English. She might have even learned English from an Irish teacher hence her Irish toasts. It's more believable than Planet of the Hats aliens where everyone has the same haircut, accent, beliefs...
It stretches suspension of disbelief just a little bit to have two 21st Century characters who look identical to 24th Century characters, but Isa Briones is back so I'll allow it.

The give and take of dominant and recessive factors into everything.
Mommy, Daddy, the grand parents and sometimes the greatgrandparents, and beyond.
What if Supersperm from a Superman (Or Super woman eggs) is so arrogant that it's %100 Dominant and turns it's nose up to any input from from any other potential contributors to the impending baby?
Superman + Superwoman = Something new.
Superman + Woman = Exactly the same Superman again.
Superwoman + Man = Exactly the same Superwoman again.
Bad imaginary fake science.
I was not a big fan of this episode.
So much of what happened just didn't logically trace. The Borg Queen can't assimilate but she has tentacles to strangle people? She suddenly has the exact limitation that she can't just assimilate people but she can download herself into Agnes' brain and become her Six? Q for some contrived reason can't snap so he has to go undercover to manipulate people with words. Some contrived way the whole future rides on Picard's ancestor.
The story is riding as roughshod as the most extreme cases in Discovery but without as many likable characters compensating for your suspension of disbelief.

I think the Queen said she could assimilate the cop, but really wanted Agnes, The cop was bait. And Queenie reeled Agnes right in.
