Well, yeah, but Trek is notoriously inconsistent about such things. Some survive in the vacuum while others appear to perish. Still others deactivate and aren't revived until somebody retrieves them("Unity(VOY)").

Awwwww... I just noticed in next weeks trailer that Rios'ship is burning up in the atmosphere of Capalius.(Sp?)

It was great. Can't wait for the 2 part season finale.

I was worried for Seven. Relieved that Annika survived.

I remember CBS registered a Star Trek: Reliant series. Was that going to be a young Picard series?

So how many of the Soji/Dahj/Jana androids did Maddox make? I remember the speculation of being 5 of them because of the poker hand that Data had. But that was a dream by Picard so it probably is not related.

Loved Raffi in this one. Glad they cleared up some of the minor continuity stuff like where Elnor got the badge. Can't wait to see what Elnor and Seven do next. They do seem to be seeing up a big redemption thing for Starfleet; Picard was harping a bit too much on how they failed and betrayed their values. With a giant Romulan fleet heading to kill everyone, someone is going to have to show up to save the day, and Seven disconnected herself from the cube...

I'm thinking more Mass Effect than Battlestar Galactica.
Again, you do realize that Star Trek was doing all this stuff long before any video games came along.
If you absolutely have to compare it to something, then compare it to itself.
Even the Original Series was using Sci-Fi materials that have been around since folks began writing Sci-Fi books back in the early 19th century.

I'm thinking at this point that Maddox may not have actually created any of them.
It sounds like they existed long before he got to their planet.

Either that or he somehow stumbled upon the planet and started them up again.

Whoever in the writing room came up with the idea that the mere knowledge of these past events would cause people to bash themselves in the head with rocks and kill themselves REALLY did this season a disservice. Completely unnecessary and really badly executed all around. Besides that, this was a really great episode. Character moments galore. :luvlove:

To be fair, the whole "ancient alien/izard people false-flag cabal" thing is kind of a Bioware staple. And I don't ever remember one of those in Star Trek before.

People are going to have a lot of fun with that flashback at the beginning. I could see them adding Discovery clips to the montage. :)

That was I was thinking. This big threat that comes when a civilisation reaches a certain level is just the Reapers. Where’s Sheppard when you need him?

"What Are Little Girls Made of?" = Ancient Alien Civilization creating Androids
"Arena" = Lizard People
"The Lights of Zetar" & "Errand of Mercy" = False-Flag Cabal

Not that hard to find Trek comparisons older than what you're listing.
