That was an awesome episode. I can't believe what Locutus did.
Whose leg are you pulling?

I agree this series is likely part of a one big story as told from Picard's own perspectives. I just hope it won't end like what some anti-Trek Youtubers are now speculating, that everything that happens only exists in Picard's head as he slowly succumbs to the Irumodic Syndrome :confused:...

'Enterprise' got ruined due to the finale which features Riker and Troi watching a holodeck program. 'Picard' is the best Trek series since TNG and DS9. I hope the show-runners won't tarnish it by ending it on a similar plot :confused:.

I'm pretty confident that Mr. Chabon a Trekkie at heart, is well aware of the consternation TATV caused in the fandom.

I rather doubt he would choose to go there again.

Agreed. I also sincerely doubt Sir Patrick would agree to a plot like that. It would basically make the entire show meaningless in the end because none of it really happened. I can see why the anti-Trek Youtubers are loving this theory, though - it would mean their "precious Picard" is still the invincible captain who never fails (at least that's how they seem to picture him for some reason I don't understand, but then, they don't seem to live in the same universe as I do in general so there's that, lol) and no one has "ruined" their "precious TNG". ;)

You never know, of course, I'm not ruling things out 100% - but this whole "it's all in Jean-Luc's head" has "Bobby Ewing In the shower" written all over it, and I would hope that, even so many years after that legendary scandal, everyone STILL knows that Dream Seasons or Entire Shows That Have Been A Dream/Illusion/Whatever are... well... a VERY BAD IDEA. :shifty::lol:

That's what I thought this theory is gained followers among the anti-Trekkers as well :confused:.

For the sake of all that is Good and Holy, please do not let this come true. Such endings have been tried both on (Enterprise) and off-Trek series (Dallas, Bewitched...remember when they switched Darren with a different actor?) and it always ruined the series among many of their fans.

Let's not ruin the character Jean-Luc Picard is by ending what is likely his final voyages using this cheap trick....:confused::brickwall::brickwall:

All these Yt videos brought back a lot of memories of being a kid and going to the movies back in the 60's.
They just don't write music like this anymore...

IMHO only Robert Goulet's interpretation of the song is canon. Everything else is a cheap impersonator ;);):D:D

I think it's fair to say that Scott Bakula is no Robert Goulet, but he's still a far better singer than, for example, William Shatner.

Welp, ... the chit has officially hit the fan...

Was that a Mugatu plush?
Kinda looked like one.

Initial thoughts ...

The "Motley Crew" is now divided...

Raffi is sooo good at what she does that even drunk as a skunk & high as a kite, she can get it done!

Juarti is a tease.

Narek is an SOB, but has completely underestimated Soji's innate talents.

What the Hell is Elnore going to do against energy weapons with his sword?!?! :wtf:

Was that an ICONIAN GATEWAY?

Looks like it. Could be something similar.

I really, really liked big sections of this episode, but was less interested in Raffi's issues.

Loved, loved Picard's reaction to having to go to the artifact, love the visual melding of past images over his current face. Loved his visceral reaction to being on the cube. Really enjoyed the Soji's plight in discovering something is seriously wrong. Really liked that Nareek clearly does have feelings for her, but did follow through and try and destroy her. Loved seeing Hugh's reaction to Jean Luc, though I really wanted to hear him first say Locutus (sorry just love that moment on I,Borg). Enjoyed the look when a random ex Borg does call out Locutus? A bunch of previous footage in momentary flashes throughout. From Best of Both Worlds, First Contact, ect. And hey blink and you miss it, we do see the E, and old shot of I think Paris (though I can't honestly remember what episode that was from). In this one episode we see and actually feel more of the deep psychological damage Picard still suffers from, compared to TNG's Family (an episode I love) to his reaction throughout most of First Contact. Am seriously liking Legalas (I kind), Elnor.

A very Solid episode.
