I'd like to see this "Grey" one re-done with a "First Contact"-era TNG uniform in red (command).

Hmm...how about the cute girl from BSG (Kaylee?) in a TNG uniform, perhaps a skant or something?

This is not much of anything special in terms of actual manipulation talent required--all I did was take a picture from "Indiscretion" and screw around with levels and lighting, but this pic goes with "Exits in the Haze."

This is kind of how I imagine my AU Dukat. The look in his eyes here just said it all: in this version of Dukat, there's no room for arrogance.

Yes, Callie. sorry about that. It's been a while since I've watched BSG. It lost me when they settled on the planet and did the whole '1 year later' thing.

She's make a good junior officer.

Oh, were you one of the ones that got screwed by their DVR, when SciFi failed to notify the cable companies that the show was going to run a few minutes over? That made me SO mad!!!! But thankfully they put the rest of the ending up on their website once they realized they managed to piss off millions of fans. ;)

Hey...I was wondering if anybody could do a photomanip with Rufus Sewell in a DS9/First Contact era uniform?

The character is Makis Spirodopoulos, and he is a lieutenant commander, security division (so he should be wearing security/tactical gold).

Here are some pics of Sewell that might work for Spirodopoulos:

If somebody can pull this off, then I will treat you all to something I'm sure Sigils and Unions readers have wondered about for quite some time--something Rabbitooth kindly sent me via PM that I haven't posted yet for the whole board to see...

Rufus Sewell? I just can't see him as genuinely "threatening" enough to be a Security Officer. Now, the guy from "Alien" (Michael Biehn), I can see him as your Security Officer (Makis Spirodopoulos). The kind of guy that has believable 'impulse-control-issues' and a C.O. that's often tempted to let the guy off his leash on certain Admirals.

However, I could see Mr. Rufus Sewell as a Betazoid 'Counselor' as he carries that sort-of, "You don't have to be crazy to work here, but it helps" look.

I don't imagine Spirodopoulos as being a thug or even a particularly burly guy. I think when it came to potential physical confrontations, he tended to get things done less on brute strength and more on being a faster, smarter fighter. He would be particularly skilled in judo--using the enemy's strength against them. (Interestingly, if you do research on judo, you'll find out the guy who first started it was quite a bit smaller than Sewell...i.e. about 100 pounds even in his 20's!) Martial arts practitioners who really adopt the philosophy of their art tend to take a different approach to being a "warrior" than a mere "heavy"...and Spirodopoulos takes much more after the former.

(Now, Spirodopoulos probably knows other styles than just judo, but this would be pretty high up on his list of preferred techniques.)

I don't think that he has to have impulse control issues to be in that job, either. The way you see Sewell in those pics--I really think Spirodopoulos is a decent, easygoing guy off-duty...passionate about things, but not the type who's wild off duty. (He's not at ALL like Starbuck on nuBSG, for instance). And to me, Sewell fits. I've seen certain pics where he CAN get a pretty badass look, but he seems to switch that off when he's just relaxing. That's how Spirodopoulos is...he's all business when the situation calls for it--but he can flip a switch and relax when the time's right.

And I DO imagine some people being surprised when they see him and then find out what he does. He's NOT the stereotype. (And something makes me think he's been a "plainclothes officer" a disproportionate amount of times, exactly for that reason...)

And for that reason I think Sewell fits the bill.

I still want to see Tia Carerra in an "First Contact" era Starfleet Uniform (Female "Skant" Variant). Any department.

Suggested Background: Sovereign-Class Corridor.

Any takers?

I would enjoy seeing Anthony Stewart Head (of Buffy the Vampire fame) as a full Admiral in the Nemesis/ late DS-9 era uniform.

I know there were quite a few of A.S. Head at the STPMA (yahoo) group / forums.

I saw one and it was well done, but he was done as a captain and a nice fan designed uniform. I was looking for an admiral in a traditional look, but I realized since I have no photo talent at all and not a lot to contribute back to the group, it was impolite of me to ask someone to spend a lot of time indulging me. Thanks though.

You want Anthony Stewart Head in TNG "First Contact"-era uniform or TMP-era or TOS-era uniform as an Admiral?

The late DS9/Nemesis era... grey top over black.. is what we use in our campaign. But, I'll have to restrain myself. This would like waving qagh at a Klingon.

Oh, very nice.

I'm not usually a fan of photomanipulation but this one I could easily imagine as Ensign Srena, a young pilot who appears in The Star Eagle Adventures.
