She made a character that could have easily been relegated to being a background line speaker into a vital, living part of the bridge crew.
I am very happy I had the pleasure of meeting her years ago at DragonCon. She was a delightful, graceful woman.

I cannot do justice with what Nichelle Nichols brought to this world and her impact. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

Yes. He has been with us so long and appears so healthy its gonna stab many of us all in the hearts pretty badly i think.
She'll have God eating out of her hand, and she'll see us all at the rendezvous.
A lot of my fellow Journeyers are devastated right now. The one thing that gives me cheer (and this is the case whenever some cherished person dies in modern day) is we still have 55 more years to appreciate Nichelle Nichols.

I rewatched Star Trek V tonight in tribute of both Nichelle Nichols and David Warner. This has been a sad week for Star Trek deaths.
