Normally the game is actually quite stable and not that buggy at all.

The welcome back weekend was a massive mistake, they just dumped a rather large update onto the live servers, and rather than wait to iron out the kinks immediately invited former players back... to a buggy experience.

I should say that this is how most updates go for the first couple of weeks, which is why I cannot understand why they'd go and do this, it hasn't worked out at all for them.

yah I totally missed the diplomatic stuff. I didn't get it downloaded and ready to go again till saturday so I only got the rest of sat and sun to play..wasn't enough time really (didn't realize the "free weekend" was wed-mon morn)

sounds interesting. Thanks guys, still lookin for more info if anyone cares to add more but I'm going to reconsider giving it at least a month to see more of what's different.

I absolutely loved the mission in the Bajor system. It was all diplomacy, and if fighting erupted, you failed. It was great fun and I hope there are more of them!

Okay, I think I am switched to Engineering then since they haven't fixed my Tactical Officer yet. I did my first diplomacy quest last night helping out some disgruntled miners and that was pretty cool.

I am sort of digging ground combat. I just switched out my Mine kit for a turent kit, so I will be having fun with that tonight.

I believe my character is Brew@TheBrew (at least that is what it said in the chat box) if anyone wants to chat or play. I did my first fleet action at Starbase 24 and that was a lot of fun once I got in with a pack of ships.

Also don't forget to check out the newer diplomacy missions at Vulcan, Bajor, Starbase 39 and Memory Alpha. You won't be given these as a direct mission, you have to seek them out yourself.

I just installed the game, and it won't let me on, due to an error with my account, even though the servers are functional - something with the activation code, which I know is valid, since it's a collector's edition. Can someone please help me get to Billing Support, since the ticket system doesn't seem to be working. I really want to get squared away and start ASAP.

If you have not entered a payment method for your subscription, that's most likely what's causing the problem; that step is mandatory. Your 30 free days don't activate until you enter subscription information. You don't get charged until the 30 days are up, but you MUST enter that information.

If that's not your problem, tickets are the only way to contact Billing. If you can log into the web page, you can open a ticket by going here:

If you can't log into the web page, you can open a ticket this way:

Thanks for the help and the links, syberghost. The ticket thing wasn't working, and I'm really eager.

I honestly just want to rush and hit LC so that I can get my connie and then just take it easy. I am enjoying the missions. Last night I did a patrol for cloaked Klingons through an Asteroid field and it was pretty cool just keep my eyes open and watching my scanners to root them out. And then making them go Boom!

Got the issue resolved, and am patching as we speak. Always wanted to be a career Starfleet officer, and I can't wait to put on the uniform.
