Fleet Captain
That looks awesome I'm wondering will the game come out to game systems like Nintendo WII sometime in the future.
As I get closer to Lt. Com. I keep worrying that I am putting points in all the wrong palces.
It's a cruiser...
Constitution disc and Vesper nacelles, Excalibur body?!?
I heard the Science route gives some nice buffs/debuffs, so i think i will go that route...

Are most people sticking with the ship class that "fits" their character type - Escort for Tactical, Cruiser for Engineering and Science for Science - or is anyone mixing it up? Do the benefits of each ship class work just as well for everyone or , for instance, do Science characters get more out of a Science ship?
Axiom what ship class is that and what variants did you apply?

You know, I've noticed that there are plenty of "nested missions." For example, you are told to explore 3 star systems. You go to Site A, beam down a planet/starbase, and defeat "X" number of baddies. Then you go to Site B and defeat "X" number of ships. Finally, you go to Site C and scan "X" number of anomalies. Then finally, you receive a scant number of merits, skill points, and so forth. It takes a lot of time, too.
Well, folks. I've spent another 2.5 hours playing tonight, and guess what?!?
I'm still a LEVEL 3 LIEUTENANT!!!!! OHMIGOSH, OHMIgosh, Ohmigosh, ohmigosh, ohmiGOSH!!! Bwahahahah!!!

That does it for me ... The line must be drawn here--this far and no further!I'm obviously not gonna go anywhere in this game; it's not for me. It SUCKS the energy and life out of me like a blackhole.
The Fun Factor doesn't even exist anymore. On a scale of 1 to 10, it's a negative number in the triple digits! I'm of the belief that a game should be, above all, FUN, i.e., a recreational activity that provides entertainment and amusement. Sure, one could say games should be challenging, educational, inspiring. STO has given me nothing but headaches and unnecessary stress. I even resent the fact that there are TROLLS who can't see from my point of view and dare to hurl juvenile insults at me, those basement-dwelling, pus-faced, sociopathic ugly bastards. Oh, did I mention a lot of them smell so bad?
I really wish it had been a different experience for me. For those of you who have progressed in the game and continue to enjoy STO, congratulations and more power to you.
The $50 Target gift card could've been better spent on something worthwhile.
Drone Out.

Ummm have you actually turned in your missions with the communicator? Because if you have what you are stating is literally impossible. You get hundreds of skillpoints for each mission at turn in.

There was talk of an Xbox 360 version. As far as the Wii, I think it's is too underpowered for STO. Not a knock on the Wii, I just bought one for Xmas!

If he hasn't that is easy to fix, just click the Starfleet delta icon on the screen, then click on the names with checks next to them, and finally click accept reward or continue.
It's not just a matter of instant gratification. Already, people on this board are getting to Lt. Cmdr. levels, and how long has the game been out?

IN my defense, I have been playing it heavily and I just reached Lt. Com last night. I have seen several Admirals though!![]()
Yuou must have what you are stating just isn't possible. Every 2 or 3 missions should have leveled you till 4 then every 3 or 4 missions till 6. You get over a hundred skillpoints per mission turn in.Ummm have you actually turned in your missions with the communicator? Because if you have what you are stating is literally impossible. Too late. I already uninstalled the game. Anyway, when I completed my missions, I always clicked on my contacts (Admiral Quinn, Akira Sulu, etc.) and I received what few points I earned. I know that in the game there's a "Skills Up" indicator that tells a player has advanced. I always clicked on that and assigned points to my Tactical skills. When I completed the Delta Novis (?) mission last night and the Tellarite contact prompted me to claim my points/rewards, which I did. I was positive that I'd at least be a Lieutenant Level 4 at that time, but when I looked at my profile, I was still a Level 3. I don't know about the rest of you, but did I get a different version of STO?![]()

For me I had a four day weekend to do it in.
