Haha I can't wait til tomorrow for it since Voyager is my favorite series. I am so stoked. I leveled up enough to be able to play it.

I am assuming the 4 hour down time / update time from 6AM - 10AM PST tomorrow is to release it, so since I am EST I have to wait at least until 1PM. From my experience working at a game company in the past, it will probably be buggy and they will have to patch it.

Everyone ready?! I'm all set. I unloaded my current ship so I can throw all my gear onto my new ship. I'll buy my Guardian, load her up and head for the Delta Quadrant. Come on 10am!

yeah, don't get too excited to play once it 'opens'. It'll be overloaded (despite using queues, they can't figure this one out ever) and buggy. After the emergency patch this afternoon/evening, it might be worth checking out. Almost definitely by tomorrow sometime...

My game plan for the next couple of days, depending on server stability.

I bought my extra console for after my upgrade. I parked my ship at ESD to easily upgrade it to T5-U.

Once that is done, it's off to Tau Dewa to do the Tau Dewa Patrol on Elite a couple of times. That should get me close to Level 51. Then its off to do the first couple of DR missions.

Don't forget to level your Specifications as you level up. On Tribble I focused on the Commando tree first. It really helped with my ground game.

Anyone interested to team up for a few Elite Patrols after the update? Those will scale up to epic space battles for loooaaads of XP.
leveling up should be a lot faster that way.

It'll probably take me 30-60 mins though to set up my ship and other stuff.

I always pre-patch via tribble server way before the actual release.

With work (sort of) slowing, maybe I'll able to get some time to login and do more than set my Duty Officers once or twice a week. Delta Rising actually looks intersting.

Seeing as this thread has over 5000 posts, is really old (free to play is 2 years old by now)and the launch of the Delta Rising expansion, maybe it's time to start a new main thread for the game?
