I saw something about the prepatch happening. Probably won't look at the game tonight. Will be interesting to see the changes that happen.

I forgot about the new Fleet Holding that comes with today's major patch. If I read correctly, fleet projects will now just require Energy Credits, duty officers, contraband and dilithium? Commodities, torpedos and R&D resources are no longer requried. And it seems like Cryptic has done a whole bunch of mission related bug fixes too.
Jeez, that is gorgeous ....
The new lighting looks really good - especially now it means I've shifted over to DX11. Everything looks much sharper and cleaner.
Admittedly, the options bug has meant I can't play for too long without getting annoyed, but I'm sure once that's fixed I'll be playing again for a little while.

Anyone else has the issue I've got, it all happened after the latest patch on 25th I think, sorry I don't play game that much only here and there....
I don't think it is my graphic card as it played fine week ago, and I played for weeks before I even joined the fleet for the first time in 2 years.
However for some reason my interface is all messed up,comes blank. My Graphic card is AMDs R9 290X,
No idea what could be the problem, does anyone have same problem?

^Yes, it's a known issue. One suggestion I know of is to start the game in safe mode (option in the launcher) and then restart in normal mode.

Thank you, I edited game file, as per suggestion in that reddit post and it worked, sorry using non-cryptic launcher so no safe mode there.

Cards that support DX Level 10 have been out for 9 years now, they're really cheap to get a base level one. any laptop made in the last few years should support it.
People still on XP really need to get their heads out of the ground. Not saying they should switch to 8 or 10, switch to 7 at least.
