Well, I have the engine/deflector/core/shield set and the weapon set. The cannon is like another torpedo but I think it may be effected by aux power. I'm still playing with it.

I think it definitely counts as exotic damage. Most of my Aux powered stuff I try to test on my vesta but haven't run it there because weapons sets don't mix well with it.

I got excited when I thought it was a boff. Duffs are still good though. And it's something new isn't it?

Can you guys give me some recommendations for a snazzy Romulan vessel for my Tac officer?

I'm thinking of the Solanae Dyson Destroyer if I want to use Gravity Wells or science 'powers' while retaining my tactical abilities (note: I haven't compared the specs yet). I haven't seen many of the Solanae Dyson destroyers in-game so my toon will probably be unique.

I'm aware Romulan vessels aren't that tough. They make it up by using their cloaks and firepower....and, in some cases, speed. While I'm mulling over the Solanae Dyson Destroyer, I'll be looking at other T6 vessels - the Malem Light Warbird looks nice, but I'm loving the design of the Solanae Dyson Destroyer.

I was set on getting the Command Cruiser bundle for my Fed toons (Sci, Eng, Tac) but now I'm characterizing one and it looks like one particular toon may get a pilot vessel. It's not set in stone.

Morrigu is a great ship. Not too big, not too small, I use it on my SCI Rom, so you can get your favourite Sci powers, and still kick arse nicely as a Tac.

Malem is fantastic, but with limited sci, IMHO. I use it on my tac, and love it, but it's very squishy. It's a tiny tiny ship.

Faeht is great too. Can do a lot of damage, it's an intel ship, so in addition to SCI evil you can do Intel evil. Bigger than Malem, but still a bit squishy. My higest DPS-dealing toon is in a cannon-built Faeht (he's an ENG, so lots of healing abilities not to get easily destroyed).

So something is happening tomorrow, the trailer for the last mission had the TOS Enterprise, and May 5th at the end.

Probably an announcement for what ever they're doing for the 50th anniversary.

^ I found a post on twitter from the STO-reddit account - something about a TOS Temporal Agent Pack. There might be more also, as they have hinted about the Nakaul going after Sulu's ancestor also in a story that was posted yesterday.

Well, that's interesting. Might get me playing more regularly again...

The expansion will probably be 10 or so missions, and at the last one, you find your ship thrown into 2510, where you play the regular game from there.

I just realized every shot in the trailer is of the Enterprise, even the shot of the crew, except Kirk is facing the other way lol

I'm looking forward to this TOS expansion.

I'm also hoping that they fix the lag that occurs in the Dyson Sphere.

(I've been taking my toons there to build up 'stuff' including dilithium and experience).

I'm frigging excited about this. So cool. Just need to decide what sort of character I'll play. I know there will be more details about this over the next few months.

It's an entire "Agents of Yesterday" expansion focused on TOS era!!!

From what's been described so far, its going to be like past expansions Legacy of Romulus and Delta Rising:
    • A new partial "TOS Temporal Agent Faction" that ultimately joins the main Federation Faction in 2410 at high levels.
    • A bunch of TOS era missions that should bring new TOS faction characters to level 40 or 50!
    • A bunch of temporal ships that are disguised to look like TOS era ships!
    • A bunch of TOS era costumes!
    • A new Temporal Operative Primary Specialization (probably available to all players)
    • A bunch of new Temporal Operative Ground and Space Bridge Officer Abilities
    • A bunch of bridge officers specialized as Temporal Operatives
    • Temporal Recruit bonuses (like the Delta Recruit)

Is it me or have they upscaled the TOS bridge, the existing one in the game doesn't seem that large
