Star Trek Online and Countdown Graphic Novel Continuities

The 5 Keys to Comedy:

Key #1: Be funny.

Key #2: Avoid having to explain the joke. This is easier if you just observe Key #1.

Key #3: There really isn't a Key #3. There shouldn't need to be a Key #3, or anything after Key #1, for that matter, if you just observe Key #1.

Key #4: Key #3 was not a disobedience of Key #2, no matter how much it might resemble it.

Key #5: Key #4 was.

:shifty:

^Uh-huh. Got the message.

Hey--some folks got it, some folks didn't.

I need to expand my horizons. Hmm....

"Guy walks into the doctor's office. Doctor tells him, 'You need an operation....'"

I suppose it just doesn't make sense that you would joke about being angry at an editor because he chose to ignore the death of a minor character in an already years-old novel... ten years ago.

Then why are you getting so worked up over it?

*sigh* It's called comedy, folks.

In comedy, we take things (in this case, my disdain for early lack of concern for book continuity), and take them to the extreme.

Now, do I really want to kill Ordover, and torture Richard Arnold's clone?

...

...

:scream:YES I DO!!!:scream:

:lol::lol::lol:....;)
I wasn't just referring to you joke, I was also talking about the whole conversation before that. I just didn't want to go through every post and quote it.

Brook Trout: colloq. n., A look of uncertainty, indicated by a blank stare and open mouth...slowly pulsating as the basic biological need for oxygen is satisfied.

In other words, a combo of :wtf: and .

Ah, thanks, I'd never heard the term before.

Today, I actually stumbled over MacKenzie Calhoun in STO.

He's one of the battlemasters (PvP-related NPCs) on K7. No sign of his ship, though. :(

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised when this happened to me too! Quite fun meeting Naomi Wildman on the same station (and playing football with tribbles!)
