Millions and millions of people were perfectly happy with Transformers 2
I'm not sure that's true.

It made over $400 million at the box office, so clearly it is.
JJ's film, by comparison, only made $257,730,019, according to boxofficemojo.com.
Does that mean Transformers 2 is a better film?![]()

Eh, let's not - it would be silly. I think most people are quite capable of recognizing an opinion when they see one, and besides, there are far too many things already which come with mandatory labels attached, announcing the bleeding obvious.Dude, it was a total given that it was his opinion and was a genuine answer to the OP.It's still a mediocre, hollow shell of a movie that's fun on a big screen but leaves you feeling empty every time you watch it. And the story still sucks.
Not really. And who are you referring to when you say "You?" Perhaps you should say "me," as in yourself.
I guess we can should start putting IMO at the end of everything we say just in case it upsets you.
No, no it isn't. All that mens is $400 M worth of children went to see the film.
The same argument can be made regarding JJTrek.
4. I was so dazzled by Quinto's performance that I failed to adequately appreciate Chris Pine. No, he's nothing like Shatner's Kirk, really. But he's a fascinating character in his own right, immensely charismatic, and if I'd never seen one frame of TOS, I'd still be very interested in seeing more from that guy.

Still glad I only paid $3.00 for a mid-week matinee as opposed to what some no doubt paid to see this movie.
Here's to hoping the next outing is better than the last! When I saw the first trailer I thought NOW THIS, IS GOING TO BE COOL! Then I got to the theater and the floor fell out from under me. (All in all, Star Trek has always had a history of coming up to speed slowly.) So here's to the next film, may she be a good one! What are your thoughts here's mine Happy Birthday Star Trek you are still my favourite film a year one so thanks JJ Abrams and the brilliant cast and crew.
One year later, it's still the dumbest entry in the history of the entire franchise, bar none.
