Star Trek: Nemesis on DVD For $3.99 at Wal Mart

This is great news. I wanted to go skeet shooting next weekend, but I was all out of clay pigeons. Glue a few of these together, and they should do nicely.

I purchased this evil DVD for the above price to complete my collection..Have no intention on ever seeing it however...

I noticed that today. Still won't spend the money. I think they benefitted more than they deserved with the two tickets they got off of myself and sig. other back in '02.

Yeah, like that makes a lot of sense.

I dunno... I spend less money by buying only the DVDs I WANT to watch... would cost me a lot more if I started buying everything I don't want to watch.

But, please, don't let me interrupt the "Nemesis sucks" parade.

I'll pick it up. $3.99!? I can buy it to replace the one I sold to a pawn shop a few years ago for some food money. Now I can get it again for only $4! :D :D :D

That's almost cheap enough for me to get it. Assuming of course I ever set foot in a Wal-Mart. Sadly even them giving it away wouldn't get me into a Wal-Mart....

^Is yours depressing, too? For me, going to Wal-Mart is almost like shopping at the local K-Mart (before it went under).

There just seems to be a kind of aura that radiates from the place, and you're right it is a K-Mart vibe. I haven't set foot in a Wal-Mart for any reason in over 8 years, and the total number of times I have is 3, all because my friend or gf of the time needed a ride to pick up pictures they had developed there.

As for the movie, as stated before we're almost at my price point for buying it (along with Insurrection), provided I will actually walk into a store selling it at that price.

Come on guys. Nemesis wasn't *THAT* bad. I'd still rank it above The Search For Spock, The Voyage Home (blasphemy, I know) and Insurrection.

And I'm in the position of having purchased it twice. The first time, when it hit $9.99. And the second time, last week when I snagged the 20-disc complete Trek movie collection from Amazon.

Where I am, it depends on which Wal-Mart you go to. There's two of them within 15 minutes of my place. The older one is run-down and filthy; most of the local K-Marts look better. The new one is bright, clean, spacious, and -- amazingly enough -- they've made an effort to keep it clean. I'll sometimes stop there if I can't find what I need at Target.

The one closest to me (which is like 20 miles) just has this bad K-Mart vibe... and it's not that old.
I love Target, myself.

I thought the whole intention of Wal-Mart was that you could buy things for cheaper than at other retail outlets, and that's why it's so widespread, and therefore you would need to strike at its heart to destroy it!
