I was going to put this in the "TOS gets new fans" thread, but given how funny it is, I thought it was better to give it its own thread.

Speaking of new fans, someone made a flow chart of the Trek movies over at Live Journal. Now, we can debate the merits of the chart for hours (wouldn't recognize this place if we didn't), but you have to admit it's funny as hell.

How about this one:

On the verge of interstellar peace with a formerly implacable enemy, the Enterprise is sent in to secure a lasting relationship with said enemy. Along the way a political insurrection occurs by a militant group within the political structure of the former enemy. This insurrection has in its possession a warship that can fire while cloaked and drags the crew of the Enterprise into a battle to save their captain (and subsequent peace) from the wrath of the enemy.
