Im good with editing and camera work, and some graphics, But i know there is far more to this.

Have you completed any films?

Yes I have, I am 1 semester away from Graduation with a Degree in cinematography from my local college, and I am continuing on to university to get my bachelors as well.

1 Film is in post production, One is a documentary I shot for my documentary class about Phase II, Once thats finished I will need to clear it with the Phase II producers to release.

I grew up around Film and the media, My parents are publishers, Dad a professional Photographer, Writer and Editor of a snowmobile racing magazine. My brother is a Cinematographer in Alaska for BP Oil Company, And my sister runs a very successful Photography business.

When I first started school I thought id like going into computers and networking but then realized that I didn't like dealing with people who had computer problems. And as a Kid ive always had a camera in hand. I still got about 7 VHS tapes to import of little films I shot as a kid on the huge VHS camera that I could barely hold back then lol.

I want to clarify that I am personally very excited by the people who are focusing on creating great sets and studios and not promising films. To me, Starbase Studios is the single most exciting new thing in fandom in a long time. There is no single proposed new fan series that I consider more exciting than Starbase Studios. If you took that as a put-down, let me assure you it was not intended as a put-down. A great set is a thing of beauty and a joy in and of itself. It also generously facilitates other people's dreams. I seem to have offended you. I apologize. That was not my intention.

I am 100 percent behind what Starbase Studios is doing, In fact I designed a couple MSDs for them and built a couple props for them. JC England is doing a wonderful job with that project. He is just an all around generous person. Here in Michigan I want to do something similar, there is at least 4 Universities in my state that have excellent film departments and one school that specializes in just Radio, TV, Broadcasting and Film production. I think bringing a studio to Michigan that people can have easy access to will be a very good thing. After re reading your post barbreader no offense taken. We just really want to do our best in what we can do is all. And after staying up till about 1am, we have started to lay out our plan and what we want to do over the course of the next year.

Ahhh! but Barbra, you need to remember that a star eyed dreamer and his friends from Project Ajax brought you Starbase Studios and Project Valiant for with out the dreamer all would be naught. remember ya gotta start some where.
