Star Trek "Live" Show @ San Diego-Thoughts ?

Hello-

Anyone see the "Star Trek: Live" Show at either San Diego County Fair or at Florida yet ? Thoughts ?

I saw it today @ SD Fair and it was pretty mediocre...mostly educational stuff for kids.. not much for true Trekkies...

Mixed-matched content.. most video content lifted from Star Trek 2009 movie..

for those of you attending the SD County Fair--there is a small personal exhibit of Star Trek collectibles (and Star Wars) at the "Home and Hobby" section of the Fair.

check it out !

I saw it on Saturday, but didn't see the 'Home and Hobby' thing.

It was a bit corny. Worth it I suppose if you are going to the fair anyway and want to be mildly amused for half an hour.

What exactly was it? The traveling version is coming near where I live and I was tempted to go and see it, but I have no idea what to fully expect.

Well I can tell they used the same script in San Diego as they did at the Space Center. Since there was some sort of mention of visiting the Space Center in the script.

It is a show with some audience participation, with some footage mostly from the new movie, as well as the general premise from the new movie (time travel, romulans, etc). It is definitely aimed at a younger audience.

Like I said, worth it if you are going to where they are showing it already. Not really something you need to go out of your way to see.
