Thanks for all the smilie parades. :D

Too cool! *insert Cloud Ten smilie here*

For the curious who don't know what we're talking about, here is "Blue Blue Sky."

boushh also won for her video "Miss Independent," which was shown before Jolene's talk on Friday. Awright boushh!!!

:brickwall: I could have sworn I just posted something about this. Anyway, I didn't mention boushh's win earlier because I didn't want to step on her toes in case she wanted to do a little bragging... not, of course, that I think she's a braggart ... I serendipitously arrived in the theater just as they were presenting her certificate... I got to watch both videos on the big screen... :techman:

I'll let boushh tell you all the rest.

^^Hee, I mentioned boushh because I'm thrilled for her and couldn't wait! LOL. Yours might have been the post I read, too, somewhere or other. :)

How many people were there? And what did the videos look like on a big screen? I can't even imagine.

Cool news all around! Congrats to HR and boushh. With the quality both your videos have, I'm not surprised they won. Keep 'em coming, girls!

Fantastic news!!

Congrats to you both. You both do excellect videos so I am not surprised!!
Both looked GREAT on the big screen!
I can't say how many were in the room for HR's video, because I was in my seat (and I was only 7 rows from the stage) and watching the video, not checking out the audience. :) As for boushh's entry, people were just arriving for Jolene's talk.

Speaking of vides, HR, can you create a link I can copy for my "files"? I can't figure out how to download youtube stuff.... thnx.

Wow great updates and pics...man Spiner is looking his years now!

Congrats again to boushh and HR :techman:

Hey, thanks! You know I'm living and breathing this through you...wow, 7th row! Cool seats we picked, eh? :D

Ask, and ye shall receive. This is the full-size, hi-res, gorgeous version, which looks better than the YouTube version anyway.

Did Brannon and Manny have anything new to say about Enterprise? What was the reaction when they took to the stage? Did many attend to listen or was it a quiet event compared to other panels?

I'm back and pretty wiped out. :) Thanks for the congrats. :) Congrats to HR for her win too! I wish I was in the room when they played Blue Blue Sky!! Darn it! I was sooo betting they were going to play it in front of Scott. I knew it was going to get air time at some point or another because there was no doubt in my mind it was going to be a winner. :)

All of the ENT guests were great. I was able to attend the Boys Lunch thanks to Jinx and got to sit at a table with all three of them rotating into the seat that we left vacant on the chance that they'd use it. :) Poor CT told us about his horrible flight experience. I think I stared at him with my mouth hanging open for the duration of the story. He was telling it in my direction for quite a while and I was just awed by the suckitude of it. I mean, fly to Vegas... circle around... fly back to LAX... land... take off again... and land in Vegas. OY.

The boys looked great, I thought. DK is a pisser. He cracked me up. Anthony is a sweetheart, too. :)

Jolene looked amazing. 10x better than in 2005. She looked beautiful. Her talk was great too. I thought she looked much more comfortable on stage than when I saw her last.

Scott was also awesome. He was funny and great to watch on stage. He ran from side to side to answer questions. He sang a bit whenever someone asked him too. He looked fit and pretty darned hot.

I'll probably make up a long formal report, but that's all from me now. I don't know if I'll have any good pictures since I was far away. I may have a nice zoom, but a nice zoom does squat when there isn't enough light. I have a feeling Jinx is going to take the prize for best photos. I saw some of hers in-camera and they look great.

It was so awesome meeting people from this board and others. There were so many of us there that you'd constantly be running into someone you knew. I wish I had more time there to hang out with everyone and I wish I had a chance to have some time with everyone all together. It's tough though when convention stuff is going on and people are doing different things.

The first thing Brannon said after taking his seat was "Be nice to Manny, he didn't do anything wrong."

Brannon acknowledged again that TATV was a mistake. Manny said that their thinking at the time was that Terra Prime was ENT's finale and The Atrocity (OK, he didn't call it that) was the finale of all Trek. Brannon also said they used actors from TNG because it was the most popular of the post-TOS series and they used Pegasus because he believed it was a story that would fit the framework of the story he wanted to tell.

There were quite a few people there, certainly it wasn't packed like it was for the headliners: Scott, The Boys of ENT; Leonard and Zach; The Voyager Reunion (Kate, Tim, Robert, Robbie and Garrett -- Ethan was scheduled too, but a family emergency came up); Dorn ... etc.

Manny said their plan for the Mirror Universe stories was to do one every 4 to 5 episodes as a "parallel series within a series" picking up with Empress Sato -- audience reaction was positive for what might have been.

As many here already know, Manny said they had also planned to do a Cloudminders prequel and were going to introduce to Harry Mudd's grandfather probably as a pirate (the thinking being that criminal activity tends to be a "family business.").

:wtf:

... and when I got Jolene's autograph I said to her, *boushh inserts the rest of the story here....*
