You forgot to add "IMHO".
Because a lot of us here on these boards love the show.
I daresay more posters here like TBBT than dislike it.
I think sometimes it strikes a little too close to home.
But really, it sucks ass (IMHO). I'm not a sitcom guy. Trek\Sci fi\Fantasy references aside, it is your typical, run of the mill, formulaic sitcom.
Star Trek was at my children's school today!
Even here in the land down-under (not the good part - the bad part) someone other than me knows about Star Trek. Its such a relief.
I went to see the book-week parade (ho-hum - actually its really good fun) and the teachers all dress up to in a common theme and this year it was Star Trek.
And I almost made my children wear their Star Trek uniforms.
Anyway the teachers performed Star Trekkin and I'm posting a link if I can get it to work.
I bet, that could never happen at my kids´ school - or any other here in Germany for that matter.
Great event. Thanks for posting the link.
I don't see that happening anywhere in the US these days either
I´m not sure whether that makes me feel better or worse ... proabably worse
