STH%2BY2%2Bicon.jpeg
Year 2 focused on Justice Minerva Irons, the Destroyer of Worlds

Summary:

Episode 11: Intersections and Reunions
- The fugitive Governor Emory Ivonovic is appointed to the Federation Council, putting him out of reach of the Federation Tribunal. Federation Council Leader Ushi Irons authorizes a massive ship building program for Star Fleet, including the gargantuan Atlas class planetary rescue vehicles, which will dwarf a borg cube. Kenny Dolphin is inducted into Section 31.

Episode 12: Prisoner in the Ice Castle - Justice Minerva Irons mediates the Andorian Imperial Succession. In the Battle over Rings, Kenny Dolphin drives a renegade Andorian Imperial Guard cruiser out of the system and defeats a squadron of fighter spacecraft without firing a shot. The newly anointed Emperor Sin IV of Andoria vows to chase the Andoria First separatists to the ends of the galaxy with no remorse.

While on shore leave on an artificial planet in Episode 13: The 15,000 Cities of Cun Ling, the U.S.S. Hunter's crew explore the fantasy cities of Numinor, Pern and Ba Sing Se. Andoria First separatists capture several Hunter crew members in Trantor. Federation Councilmember Emory Ivonovic forges an alliance with the new Andorian emperor and uses his influence and underground connections to rescue the Hunter's crew - but he cannot rescue all of them.

Episode 14: When Death Comes finds the Hunter once again in space. The ship is stopped by a strange malfunction and visited by dozens of ghosts, who overcome the crew for their own mysterious purposes. Just as the crew believe they have made a miraculous escape, the ghosts' plot is revealed and the ship destroyed with all hands...

But the ship's co-inventer, the mysterious time traveler Wesley Crusher, returns to save the ship in Episode 15: A Stitch in Spacetime - only to find that Wesley Crusher has already arrived. And Wesley Crusher.... And Wesley Crusher...

Justice Minerva Irons has to rescue her grandson-in-law from the Orion Syndicate in Episode 16: Slavers. The Romulan spy, Pivin the Betrayer, is finally located in the Badlands, but too late to prevent the Romulan Senate from conquering the planet Vulcan... Except that it appears the Fall of Vulcan was arranged by Section 31?

The Federation formally surrenders the planet Vulcan to the Romulan Senate in Episode 17: Terms of Surrender. But are you exactly certain who is surrendering what? Maybe have a look at the summary of the Treaty of Yuri Gagarin Memorial Park again...

The Gamorlan are an extinct people. Extinct because they exterminated themselves in their final world war with one of the nastiest bio-weapons ever invented by anyone, anywhere. And Section 31 will do anything to keep the Romulan Star Empire from getting their hands on that bio-weapon. In Episode 18: World on Fire, Justice Minerva Irons becomes the Destroyer of Worlds...

And in Episode 19: The Ivonovic Commission, our buddy, Federation Councilmember Emory Ivonovic investigates the role of Star Fleet and other parties in the Fall of Vulcan. Meanwhile, Commander Kenny Dolphin is desperate to obtain authorization for the U.S.S. Hunter to make its third incursion into Romulan space to rescue its lost executive and operations officers, Commander David Pepper and Lt. Commander Mlady, who went missing in the previous episode aboard a Klingon Bird of Prey... Year 2 of Star Trek Hunter ends with a Borg standing on the bridge of the U.S.S. Hunter?

Stay tuned for Star Trek Hunter Episode 20: Survival.

Tolon reached slowly for the phaser at his belt, but stopped when the borg suddenly laughed.

“No, no, please… I’m sorry…” The borg held up both his hands – the right one mechanical, the left biological. “I’ve just always really wanted to say that.”
First it's :borg: then it's  followed by  causing :wtf: because of  leaving everyone feeling :ack:. I mean, :censored:...

:bolian:!!!

Review 19.1 - Irons' assessment of their strategic situation his harrowing, but the crew's taking it in stride. Lots of changes aboard as people move up into new positions for the moment.

Review 19.2 - Okay, that was unexpected... the tiny Gamorlan clones having gone full Gremlins and feasting on the Klingon crew of the BoP! :scream: I can't decide if that's horrific, hilarious, or both.

Pep, of course, handles himself well under the circumstances, taking logical action to rapidly evacuate the savage little pests.

Review 19.4 - Ivonovic appears to be evolving, but Ushi needs both Ivonivics, past and present. An interesting philosophy. Here's hoping Emory is up to the challenge.

A homage to both Gremlins and those cute little aliens in Galaxy Quest... Glad you got a kick out of that gag!

Review 19.5 - Well... damn. :(

You might have noticed, starting in the previous episode, an increasing tempo of Irons having neck pain leading up to her stroke. It actually started as leg pain in Ep. 16 and comes straight from her ordeal in Ep 12. Aggravated by her increasing alcoholism.

Review 19.6 - Curiouser and curiouser! Crusher returns, apparently to recruit and abduct The Doctor. Color me interested!

Yeah... that's going to get wild... Thanks again for the reviews! rbs
