Yes you got it. DS9 was awesome, having the courage to mention that domestic violence still happens in the future, and even still,nits a woman assaulting a man. I like how concerned Kira seemed for his safety, that it wasn't just playfulness or a pride thing, you can hear it in her voice. Ijarna is not the kind that just takes it but he doesn't fight his wife, he reports it as he had more than once
