It does have the aura of Internet Truthiness about it.
Well if we find out these two new characters are really in the film then im sure we will come back to this thread, otherwise its in the 'oh not this shit again' catagory.
I am truly embarrassed now.
I hope I don't get a warning from the admins here for posting crap like that. In my overzealousness for any new tidbits about Trek, I didn't do much further investigation. I apologise. 
I don't think you're allowed to just say that without linking to the most embarrassing moment of Stephen McHattie's career.

Now, I may be wrong, but I think "Andy Lin" is a Star Trek: Phase II (formerly New Voyages) reference. Isn't Andy Lin the person who played Sulu in at least one episode?
According to this, John Lim is one of the people who has played Sulu for New Voyages/Phase II.
"Andy Lin" seems to be quite a common name; I'm not sure it's a reference to anything in particular.

Actually I was assembled on Earth, then dismantled and reassembled in outer space, then dismantled again and reassembled on Mars. Oh, and it was done by 20th century style welders. First, if it turned out that the scene was real, that would kill all my optimism for the film. Unless it's a scene that will get cut and not included in the deleted scenes. Two, I will now go kick myself because when word of this movie first came out, I would swore that I would do next-to-nothing to spoil myself. And here I am in a thread titled, "script leak."

He probably barely remembers the role. Star Trek isn't near as important to most (if not all) actors as it is to us.
Besides, if he could play in "Beauty and the Beast" and not be embarrassed by that, a Romulan senator wouldn't faze him.
