I love the sight of the Enterprise, an Andorian ship and a Vulcan ship going to warp near the end of the video. And the music is great. These opening credits would have been so fitting to Season 5.

I was always hopeful that Star Trek 11 would be Enterprise in the Romulan War.

It almost was the Romulan War, but without Enterprise. Star Trek: The Beginning was gonna be the story of hotshot fighter pilot Tiberius Chase single handedly winning the Romulan War ("war", in this case meaning "epic battle in Earth orbit"). The NX-01 crew were said to be at Risa and miss the whole thing . On the plus side, it would have had Shran in it. There's a review of the script at AICN.

Yeah, I recognise that. It was actually created by Skippy2k back in 2005 for Trekunited/Save Enterprise, to promote a campaign for Direct-to-DVD adventures.
