I've had a break from Treklit to read the Song of Ice and Fire novels (Game of Thrones etc.) but should be finished in time to read this when it comes out. The 'The Fall' novels can wait a bit longer...

I'm planning to grab this book from Amazon soon. I look forward to it! Quick question - in the new Trek movies, we see a number of aliens populating that version of the Enterprise, including Orion females who don't cause the crew problems. Would you consider adding an Orion to one of the crews, in addition to the Andorians and Tellarites we've already seen? It would be interesting to see the story of the first Orion in Starfleet, and have her be a valuable member of the crew - as well as T'Pol and Reed's reactions, given their past experiences.

I've only just got back to Treklit after reading all the Martin Game of Thrones novels, which took a while. I've got all 'The Fall' novels to look forward to, and have just started Voyager - Protectors, but I'll be dropping whatever I'm reading like a stone when this arrives...

I had hardly any cover input on A Choice of Futures, but the Tower of Babel cover is basically what I suggested, a Doug Drexler portrait of the two lead ships.

Ditto I Can't wait to get this Enteprise novel & see how the story continues where book1 left off.I definitely look forward to finding out what Trip's been doing since we saw him at the end book 1 and his ongoing investigaions of the villians.

Amazon.com has a chapter of this novel posted. Great start to the new book we get to see some familiar charcters from the tv series I don't want to spoil for anyone who hasn't read it yet. .I cant wait to raed the reast of this book
