star trek elite force can you go on rampage?

So i am thinking about getting the game star trek elite force 1 and was wondering if during the game or in the virtual voyager dlc you can pull out a phaser and attack crew (such as kill janeway) so can go on a rampage throught the ship then hide in a turbolift to avoid capture. Lastly if this is possible do the crew attack you and try to killl you?

It's been a very long time... I think what happens is the characters give their "I'm busy. Not right now, ensign" cookie cutter reactions.

IIRC, everyone pulls a phaser and kills you instantly. No GTA-style rampages allowed, I'm afraid.

Things have probably changed now, but in my day the Virtual Voyager thing was an expansion pack that came on a CD, not DLC.

So lets say i vaporize janeway in her ready room with no one around can i make a decent defence? Also what if i use the god mode cheat then cant i go on a gta style rampage around ship?

Here's what happens when you TK in EF1.

1. God mode is turned off if it's on.
2. All characters will turn and fire at you
3. Security officers and crew from other parts of the ship will appear
4. If you are NOT killed in short order (you can turn god mode back on but it gets turns off every few seconds after your first TK) you character will collapse on the floor and cover his face with his hand in shame.
5. You can kill everyone but when the EMH beams in to shoot you he's invulnerable.

^ Yeah, I remember trying that back in the day.

Also, if you don't follow orders, you'll be sent to the brig where one of a couple of canned cutscenes plays out. IIRC one of them was Neelix bringing you some food.

Vaporising Janeway was one of the first things I did on the Voyager bridge! You can hold off the other crew for a short time if you died behind her desk and crouch.

The best bit is in EF1 where you need to put up the shields inside a corridor as a crewman is running along with explosions behind him. You can save him, or kill him - great stuff.

I can't remember which version of EF, but you can also set the self destruct sequence off. Brilliant!

Hell yeah, and the timing to save him was actually kinda tight on those force fields.

His surviving even had almost RPG-like gameplay implications as he provided you with directions for your mission - for about 15 seconds, before you run into Crewman Chell or something who provides you with the exact same directions.

Actually there is a mod you can download that allows you to shoot people on Voyager without consequences. It basically disables that particular script so the AI's don't react, and you don't get sent to the brig. You can get it here. To install you simply locate the Elite Force folder on your computer (the location should should look something like this: C:\Program Files\Raven\Star Trek Voyager Elite Force) and place the pk3 file into the BaseEf sub-folder.

That's in the Virtual Voyager tour that comes with the Expansion Pack.

If you type no target into the game's console, the AI will not be able to target you if you decide to kill everybody. I'm not sure if you get sent to the bring anyway or not.

notarget merely prevents AIs from targeting you. The "Game Over" scenario will still occur, whether it be the brig cutscene or the game ending right there on the spot with you hanging your head in shame.

I tried to get rid of my mates by letting them behind with Borg or other enemies. Most of the time (except the scene with the exploding crewman) they are back in the next scene. Even when you manage to take an elevator and they should be trapped.

Some of the secondary characters can die permanently if they take enough damage. You can't kill them yourself, but if your mines etc weaken them.....
