Star Trek: Discovery - what other starship classes will show up?

I would rather see new ship designs that I've never seen before, rather than old FJ or TOS-ified movie ships.
And I'm less than thrilled with that NX-class-meets-John-Eaves-nacelles ship. It's like they built a ship using parts from two different eras that are 200 years apart. I like John Eaves, but I'm kinda sick of his design aesthetic at this point.

Personally, I'd love it if they made the refit NX class canon and we saw one someplace. Aside from that, there's no specific starship I'd like to see from that time. I'd like to know the fate of some of the ships/characters we saw in the Enterprise era, though.
Whatever happened to the NX-02, Columbia?
What were the fates of the NX-01 crew members? Are any of them still living? T'Pol for certain.
Did Enterprise and Columbia (along with any other NX class) participate in the Romulan War?
That's some of what I'm hoping Discovery may touch upon whether it's in conversation or some of the characters from that time appear on-screen.
I wouldn't be totally against seeing the NX-01 in that museum.

Columbia's story is covered in the Destiny trilogy, directly causing the destruction of most of the Caelier race and becoming the first Borg drones, even giving the race their name.
The NX-01 crew are split up and covered by the Rise of the Federation novels.
Novels aren't canon, by Enterprise is not going to be mentioned much in the new show, and it saves them having to make up anything, just having small and simple references based on them.
May I ask how you know Enterprise won't be mentioned? Are you an insider?
I'm sure she is. Whenever a new Trek series debuts, somebody from the previous series always appears in the new pilot. Vulcans live long, so it will probably be T'Pol who appears on DSC.
As for other starships, I also suspect that the occasional Constitution or Miranda will turn up.
I'd love the inclusion of the FJ ships, but don't think Hell has frozen over yet, another one would be the Huron type transport as seen in "The Pirates of Orion" which would have been my choice to use as the Antares in TO-R, but using the Sherman-class drone killed two birds with one model, so, the time and effort savings made sense
I never said that. I said they would keep mentions to a minimum, which is pretty likely since they won't want to bog down a brand new series and put the audience off with random mentions that most won't care about.

I could be way wrong, but based on what we saw in the teaser, I kind of feel like Discovery might be a little bit of a visual re-imagining. If that's the case, then I'd just like to see what all new designs they can come up with.
Now, that's not saying I wouldn't mind seeing a TOS-era Connie show up! Or any of the designs others have posted. Or, maybe even new designs done in the style of the TOS look? I don't know. Can this show just premiere already?! The anticipation is killing me!
