Star trek discovery is good for one thing only. A lullaby.

I think it's pretty well acted, directed, produced, and generally entertaining, though not without its flaws. I was not enthralled with the Klingon war, but I did come to grow on the characters, particularly Stammets and Tilly. So far the second season has been a major upgrade due to the change in a more adventurous tone, abandoning the undercurrent of a devastating war, and having Pike bring back some needed joviality and optimism that makes it more fun to watch.

Indeed. The MU was a bit of an odd twist that unfortunately left too many hanging threads for me.

Burnham is an intriguing character who I want to see explored more, though, and I am very glad to see Pike.

Discovery isn't perfect but I certainly am enjoying it.
