Spoilers Star Trek Discovery 3x12 Season 3 Episode 12 The Good of the People - Promo Trailer

The Scene of Osyraa walking toward Vance is very intriguing. Hopefully it happens early in the episode and not a cliff hanger ending.

No, "The Citadel" became "Su'Kal". "The Good of the People" became "There is a Tide..."

I strongly suspect that "Outside" won't have that name either.

Thanks for the correction!

^ Probably to "That hope is you, part 2", which is suspiciously still missing.

Yeah, I figured that's either the season finale or the fourth-season premiere. Probably the former.

Its used as a cheap way to make things sound (whispers) dramatic. It's bad acting/directing.

I actually don't mind it too much though just find it funny. Bit like Kirk's stunted speech or Rikers layman's explanations
Just a thought, could the whisper be less of an issue with an actors choice and more of an issue capturing the lines when re-dubbing it? Just a thought...

No SMG definitely whispers quite a bit in scenes where others are not and looks like a conscious decision. Look at the conversation with her, Saru and Culber at the end of s3e11.
She whispers the whole conversation while the other 2 talk normally

This is Discovery. There’s always a twist. I don’t think it’s as simple as acne kelpien caused the destruction of all faster than light travel in the known universe.

if the kelpian ship never crashes in the planet, the burn never happens, it would be worth firing up the spore drive for that one.

Nor do I think Osyra is who she says she is.
Before this season started we were told it was all about positivity and change, yet it seems like we’re back to the “big bad of the season” storyline’s again.

Would be interesting if Discovery from another timeline was put into the nebula for a thousand years to stop the burn. Or Burnham goes back in time and moves Discovery to the nebula. Or something along those lines, her speech in the trailer I think is a red herring. Plus I’m still hoping they tie

She also does the same thing in other roles, so it seems to be more of an actor tick then anything director or script related.

I see that the whisper also requires a reminder of the definition:
'to speak very quietly, using the breath but not the voice, so that only the person close to you can hear you'
