I dunno...I thought that was a relatively "TV Star Trekky" thing, considering the amount of cheese Star Trek TV has given us in the past....

...or are you one of the people who wants DSC to be a grittier, more realistic version of Star Trek, leaving the cheesiness of the other past series behind? If you're looking for that "reality" in your TV shows, that's fine. However, Star Trek has always had a level of cheesiness, and I don't think a TV show would be "Star Trek" without it.

Lame comparison.

But how many ENT Klingons knew about the existence of Section 31? Admiral Krell was the only one we saw who was both working on the Klingon Augment program and spoke with and knew who Harris was. Dr. Antaak and his associates seemed to be working on the genetic enhancement program and nothing else. It was Krell who was the go-between in the Section 31-Klingon plot so it's possible that the origins of the Augment Klingon plot were never disseminated through the Empire and the Augment Virus was just considered a horrible accident without any external blame or cause?

This is true, but all that is required for the episode to make sense is that some knew, which is entirely feasible given the events of ENT. Even if we discount that out of hand it's very unlikely there woudn't have been contact between S31 and the Empires' agents during the war, which given their temperament and nature would likely as not be members of House Mokai...

Hey, as long as the Augment Klingons get shown or at least mentioned at some point I'll be happy. :)

Actually that's a good point, they will need to show a few by the end of the series, simply for transitional purposes. Perhaps an Augment group gaining political power eventually. Another reason to keep the Klingon plot arc simmering over time. Some people may wish to never see another Klingon scene on the show, but it makes sense to still follow them in some capacity. If not simply to serve as a thematic contrast to how the Federation is faring picking up the pieces post-war.

The Klingons' attitudes would have to change a lot. I'm not saying they can't. But with the way they are right now, I can't see them ever accepting smooth-headed Klingons.

Judging by the way Tyler was treated: If we do see Augment Klingons, they're probably seen as outcasts. There would have to be some sort of uprising, a show of strength, for them to even be respected. Then maybe they can be accepted.

Just thought of something:

How could the spore parasite know about the real May, but not about what tears are?

If the parasite knows about May at all, it must have been able to access Tilly's brain in some manner. So why can it read Tilly's memories of one thing but not another?
