Star Trek: Deleted Scenes You Wish Existed

I can see that as a reason.

I can also see that having one on board during a time of war woukd help the crew, particularly if a lot of them see a lot if horrific action.

Another scenario occured to me... what if the Klingons invaded Betazed? Troi might be fighting a ground war... she might even be closer to being Macha Hernandez, what Marina originally was going to be cast as. We have no reason to believe this didn't occur.

If she was like Macha Hernandez she would have lines like Vasques in Aliens:

"Pvt. Hudson: Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?

Pvt. Vasquez: No. Have you?"

Turnabout intruder - Kirk in Janice Lester body
'Fancy a quickie Spock'?

Amok Time
T'Pring and Stonn decide not to show up for the ceremony, they board a shuttle and flee to the Gretna Green colony

Wrath of Khan
Marcus takes Kirk to court for backdated child support

Janeway: Whatever happened to that borg baby we had onboard at some point?
Seven: It was too inconvenient to keep it on the ship so it just vanished.
Janeway: It did? How?
Seven: I thought we were not supposed to ask these kinds of questions.
Janeway: You're right. As you were.
Seven: Aye aye, Captain.
Janeway: One "aye" is enough, crewman!
Seven: Your Riker impersonation is near perfection, captain.
Janeway: As you were.
Seven: and now Tuvok. You are on fire!
Janeway: Knock it off! That's an order!

Any TNG episode...LaForge points the deflector beam at the onscreen anomaly of the week,it has absolutely no effect whatsoever..”Gee,I thought that would work..”.

TNG "sins of the father" - ensign sonya gomez shows up at the banquet for kurn, spills an entire thanksgiving dinner on picard's uniform.

We discover the dying Laas who unlike the changelings of the link didn't get cured by Odo from the virus he was infected with when he had unprotected link with him (Odo) during his stay on the station...

Q Who? - Picard: (To Guinan) Wtf was that all that Karate posing stuff with you & Q? Kind of looked like you two might duke it out or something. Can you do that? Because that might be damn useful for us now & then.

Gul Madred (from Chain Of Command, after Picard is gone): What was I trying to accomplish with that light counting thing?

....

Gul Lemec: Four lights? What the...?

Gul Madred: Beats me.

A deleted scene that explains why the Xindi sacrificed the element of surprise by attacking earth with a small prototype device instead of waiting until the planet destroying finished model was complete.

In all seriousness, pretty much restore every deleted scene in Star Trek Nemesis. Then it might be halfway worth watching.

EDIT: Never mind, this thread is for deleted scenes that I wish actually existed. I thought it was for deleted scenes that already exist, but should be in the episode or movie. My bad!

Tom Paris: Let's change the doctor's memory slightly so that he'll remember only that there was nothing he could do to save Jetal.

Janeway: And miss the opportunity to mess with his head? Are you kidding?

In Star Trek V...A deleted scene that explains how "brilliant" Sybok waited and worked for 25 years, perfecting two things:

1. A controlled anti-matter imbalance (as seen in TMP) that would create a wormhole to expedite their trip to the Great Barrier.

2. A deflector shield modulation specifically designed to withstand the intense energies and gravimetric distortions of the Barrier.

TNG: Homeward. A scene in which Nikolai Rozhenko unmercifully dresses Picard and the senior staff down for their interpretation of the Prime Directive. (Now that I'm thinking of it, did Nikolai ever have to answer to someone or some committee for going behind Picard's back, hacking the systems of the Enterprise, and so on?)

TNG: First Contact,:

DATA: "I have isolated the main computer with a fractal encryption code. It is highly unlikely the Borg will be able to break it.". Then again, we didn't expect the Bynars to hack our computer so easily. Or the Borg, the first time around. Or professor Moriarty who even was a creation of that very same computer. Or that alien from ....
Picard: Enough data, we get your point!

Spock punching McCoy right in the mouth....

That would have been awesome! I can see it now, Spock in a perfectly controlled and measured voice:
Doctor, over the years you have made a lot of defamatory remarks about my Vulcan inheritance, but this time, you have, as you humans would put it "pushed the envelope". <WHOP>.
