How the hell my name gets dropped into a conversation about Rush Limbaugh, anywhere, and doesn't include my calling him a hypocritical, self-righteous, hate-mongering gasbag, is a mystery to me.

I offered to help you with the tech behind getting the files unscrewed, but that was....what....a week or so ago? I do know it was before I was determined to be a dimwit, a sucker, someone who'd never watched the original show and therefore had no clue what I might be saying when I thought the new flick captured its spirit, and whatever the fuck else you yammered on about before I quit paying attention to you. So, that's pretty much over.

Oh, and Limbaugh is a hypocritical, self-righteous, hate-mongering gasbag, but that's not a topic for these parts.

Something to ponder, kids:

I'm sure everyone here knows Dennis Bailey. Lord knows we've locked horns enough times around these threads. I think he's an arrogant, condescending snob with a parochial view towards other fans and often wonder why the hell he's a Star Trek fan in the first place, considering all the disparaging remarks he's made about it over the years. We're polar opposites with regards to the movie.

However, I also think he's a very good writer, and outstanding CGI artist, and anything he's involved in is worth a good look-see. I'll probably even take a look at his "Polaris" project when he's finished with it. And I would welcome any artwork he might want to contribute to the Concordance. Same goes for anyone else who wants to contribute.

I'll admit that this particular exercise has been a tad frustrating, but in the long run, it's better that this get hashed out now, before anything has actually been done, so that by the time there's actually a product to hawk, I'm no longer an issue, or at least old news.

I'm beginning to get an idea of how Rush Limbaugh felt during the whole St. Louis Rams nonsense...
